Interviews with DiBiase, Sr./RVD, more from SDCC, more on Australian tour, Another former ECW name in TNA, Impact audience, Bryan foils robbery, WWE stars with other stars' entrances and Questions on WWE on Netflix, Angle back in WWE and ROH on PPV

Ted DiBiase, Sr. talked about Taker's streak ending, Bray Wyatt and more. He's right about so many characters being generic in the OVW and FCW eras. You can only go so far as "talented athlete who wants to be champion". As for Taker's streak, I haven't seen anything credible to suggest that wasn't the planned finish. Given Taker's condition after the match, it was probably the right call.

WWE.com talked to Sting after Comic-Con. It's pretty crazy to see a Sting figure by WWE.

Here's footage of the whole SDCC panel. That's a pretty eclectic mix of talents!

Rob Van Dam talked ahead of WWE's tour of Australia. Interesting philosophy of saving all his energy for the match itself.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
WWE has a lot of tryouts set for Australian/NZ talents during their upcoming tour. I hope they sign some solid workers.

Former WWE and ECW star Tajiri will be working the next set of TNA tapings. I'm looking forward to seeing him. It'll be interesting to see what TNA has planned for those shows after the big events of the most recent tapings.

TNA hit 1.42 million viewers Thursday, the highest mark in five months. That's great! They've definitely gotten buzz for these last few shows. I hope they keep the momentum going.

Daniel Bryan detained a would-be burglar at his house. That's a pretty cool story. The quip about his finisher was great. I wish more burglaries were so spectacularly unsuccessful.

Update: Here's a recap of a press conference after the fact. Bryan's a truly great guy and I hope he becomes phenomenally successful after his surgery.

WWE.com did an article on wrestlers using the entrance music they wish they could use. That was pretty awesome. Santino as Stone Cold was particularly hilarious.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Yeah, the Network is still in its early stages and the subscriber base isn't nearly what the base is for Netflix. I wouldn't even assume they'll stop putting stuff on Netflix when the Network has a lot more viewers. People love their Netflix and WWE is smart to keep releasing stuff there for the time being.

2. I wouldn't assume all those names will work the card. Taker vs. Sting has a better chance than us seeing Austin, Rock and/or Angle. I wouldn't rule those names out, but Austin's been gone quite a while, Rock's pretty busy in Hollywood and Angle would have to pass all the relevant physical tests.

3. If WWE thinks they can make money from Angle returning without him being a liability, I think the two sides will try to work something out. Angle being physically cleared to compete is probably the biggest concern.

Nothing to add to 4.

5. That would make sense for a return to PPV. Any big ROH event is possible, but I imagine it's up to the PPV companies.

More wrestling tomorrow.
