WWE signs KENTA, WM31 rumorkiller, WWE tryouts, Interviews with Natalya/Rose+Y2J+HHH, Mathews update, WWE-MSG notes and Questions on the WWE Network, RVD and unifying titles

WWE has officially signed KENTA. The signing was covered on WWE.com. This is considered a pretty big deal. They don't announce every signing on WWE.com or involve Hulk Hogan with it. I wish Kenta the best! He's held in the same regard as Punk and Bryan by some fans, so he's got a lot of hype.

There's a poster on the website for the stadium hosting WrestleMania 31 advertising The Rock, Brock Lesnar and Batista, but it's believed to be a fake. I can see Brock and Batista being there, but Rock is less likely. We'll see.

WWE will be holding tryouts ahead of their Australian shows next month, with eight wrestlers getting the opportunity to show what they can do. I hope WWE gets some talented new stars there.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Natalya talked ahead of wrestling Charlotte in MSG. They had an awesome match at Takeover. It put Charlotte on the map and showed just how good Natalya is.

There continues to be speculation of Josh Mathews going to TNA after him visiting at the NYC tapings. Please?

Adam Rose promoted an upcoming Raw. A good read about the importance of intangibles in getting over. Cool to see Jericho speak highly of him. I can see some similarities with Jericho's rock star characters.

Natalya and Nikki Bella beat NXT's Charlotte and Sasha Banks at WWE's MSG show. I like the latter duo, but is it too soon to bring them up?

The former Rosita was once again a Rosebud at MSG. I wouldn't read anything into it as far as her getting signed. WWE just uses wrestlers local to the area for the act.

Mark Henry just worked as a lumberjack for Cena vs. Wyatt. He's just used here and there these days it seems. I think WrestleMania 32 in Texas will be his last match if he doesn't retire before then.

Vince McMahon was at the MSG live event. He doesn't usually attend live events, but MSG's a pretty important venue for him.

NXT's Byron Saxton was ring announcer in MSG. I think he'd work well in that kind of role.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
Not a lot to really add to 1.

2. I think including PPVs sent the message that the Network is a big deal and an important part of the company's future. I don't know how many people would pay $10 a month for the Network without PPVs attached. PPV revenue from traditional outlets is declining, so I can see why they made the jump! And yes, the backlash toward the Network would have been even stronger if numbers were that low. It's nowhere near too late to save the Network. They haven't even rolled it out outside the U.S. yet.

3. RVD's a former WWE, ECW, IC, Hardcore and Tag Team Champion, as well as a former MITB winner. It definitely means something to beat someone with that many accolades. RVD and Ziggler teaming is an interesting idea, but I don't know if it's one WWE will consider. How much longer is RVD going to be around for this run anyway? It's been more than 90 days.

4. I wouldn't assume he's unifying the titles. It actually seems a little unlikely to me that they'd drop the IC Title after the aforementioned tournament to build it back up. We'll see, though.

Nothing to add to 5.

More wrestling tomorrow.
