More on British Boot Camp 2, Interviews with McIntyre/Hart, more Punk promotion, NXT live event notes, Punk update and Questions on live events on the WWE Network, Kevin Dunn, Vince's interviews, The Shield and theme music

Here's the official press release for the second edition of British Boot Camp. I wonder if we'll ever see a Ring Ka King 2 or something similar.

The former Drew McIntyre talked about his post-WWE plans. TNA or GFW or whomever needs to pick this guy up so I can see him on TV again. He's a keeper.

WWE will be airing the documentary part of C.M. Punk's DVD Tuesday night on the Network. I think they're just getting everything they can out of being associated with him before his contract expires this week.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Here are results from a recent NXT live event. I'm not really familiar with some of those names. Of note, Neville, Zayn and Charlotte were working the main roster's shows, so the card was missing a number of top NXT acts. But that's more than OK, because those three are being groomed for the main roster and it's valuable for them to work against larger audiences.

Bret Hart gave an interview about Montreal (of course) and more. I'm glad Bret, HBK and Vince have settled things. It doesn't do anyone any good all these years later to still be holding grudges about it. Bret's right about there being REALLY good wrestling out there today compared to previous eras.

C.M. Punk gave an update on his plans. Note how "getting back in the ring" isn't something he's set to do. Punk is one of my all-time favorites, but I'm accepting we probably won't see him wrestle again any time soon.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Loaded live events could definitely add to the Network. But does WWE already burn the audience out with three hours of Raw, two hours of Smackdown and an hour each of Main Event, NXT and Superstars each week? Would that move make top stars seem even staler because we'd be seeing them so often? I definitely think WWE need more fresh, original content for the Network, but I don't think seeing even more of the main roster every week is necessarily the solution.

2. I think Dunn's name is probably used in a negative manner a little too much. He's definitely more of a TV guy than a rasslin' guy, and he has the same bizarre sense of humor as Vince; but he's not evil incarnate who would ruin everything if not for HHH.

3. I don't think Vince is as confrontational in interviews these days, which is a good thing. Then again, most of the interviews I've seen of him since then have been less accosting. There were two strong personalities going head-to-head there, and it led to a blowup.

4. I'd say The Shield is pretty much dead, but Ambrose and Reigns can still team together. Ambrose's look is changing post-Shield breakup and he has new music, so I think he'll eventually be primarily a singles star.

5. The lyrics fit Henry's no-nonsense character. PG doesn't mean 100% kid-friendly for everyone.

More wrestling tomorrow.
