Questions on Lesnar-TNA, Snooki returning, wheelchairs in the ring, and WWE Divas copying TNA's, Updates on Scott Hall, Tough Enough press, and a former WWE Diva misses an appearance

Not too much news for Sunday, but it starts with the questions sent to PWInsider.com.

The first question, about how The Rock's return to wrestling affects his acting career, I'll leave to their answer as I have nothing to add to it.

The second question asks if Brock Lesnar would sign with TNA. To add to their answer: It's possible, and I seem to remember him being good friends with Kurt Angle, but talk of any return to wrestling is very premature. He's still one of MMA's top names, and I think he'd blow a good deal of credibility with those fans if he came back to wrestling any time soon.

After the break, I get to the rest of the questions and news, starting with what would happen if Snooki stuck around in WWE.

I don't think she'd be required to train, but it'd certainly be good for her to. Unless she was considering a career change (and she likely isn't; she's signed up for Season 4 of "Shore" and a spinoff), in which case they probably would want her to learn more.

Questioner #4 wants to know how people get in the ring in wheelchairs. In the cases of Vickie Guerrero and D'Angelo Dinero's associate, they got out of the wheelchair, then got the wheelchair in the ring, then sat back down in it. Since the gimmick for both is that they weren't as injured as they claimed, it fit right in with that. I don't remember ever seeing someone who legitimately needed a wheelchair being put in the ring. If someone knows of a time that that's happened, let me know in the comments. I remember "Classy" Freddie Blassie being rolled to ringside in a wheelchair, but never got in the ring.

Finally, someone wants to know if WWE's Divas are copying TNA's. In the case of The Bellas flashing the loser sign, it's hard to tell if that was taken from Sarita or just them doing it because it's a common gesture. As for Laycool being similar to the Beautiful People, I also don't know how much (if any) of their act is taken from them. I know that the Beautiful People took a veiled-ish shot at the group once on air, and Love also alleged that they were being ripped off on Facebook, but Layla has said that she doesn't watch TNA and isn't copying them. So, we don't really know one way or another.

On to other news: Kevin Nash took to Twitter to defend his long-time friend and teammate Scott Hall, saying:
"Scott is in the hospital up north,I'll be at the airport when he lands and taking him to my home when he lands. Please don't judge Scott on what you just saw.He would give any of you a kidney. to the motherf----- that made a joke who would want his kidney lol send me your address and lets see how funny it is. he's my brother we will get through this. To Scotts fans thank you 4 your love you're as special as he is"

Hall's publicist is understandably upset that the promotion he worked for used the footage of his appearance as a selling point for the airing of the event. It's pretty sad that they even had him go out there in the condition he was in. My guess is they're thinking that any publicity is good publicity, and this will get people watching.

The Associated Press had coverage of Miss USA being on Tough Enough. She apologized for her language on the show.

The last news item for the weekend was Ashley Massaro missing an appearance at a wrestling convention where she was supposed to film a shoot interview. She was in contact with them up until the last week, when her numbers were disconnected. If any more about this is reported, I'll follow up on it.

That's all for Sunday's news. I'll have a more timely post of Monday's news after Raw. Remember that Tough Enough is at 8 p.m. instead of after Raw tonight. This will be its timeslot going forward.
