JR rumorbuster, Spanish Impact to begin airing in the US, Questions on Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, Sting as champion, Kong-WWE, and Cole vs. Lawler, Hogan fooled on Twitter, Edge talks helath, Former WWE writer talks Mania, Sunny and Sammartino talk HoF, old name visits WWE, plenty of Mania press, a tour of the Tough Enough house, WWE Champion on the Weather Channel, Rock to wrestle again?, Bret Hart talks in-depth, and TNA updates the card for Lockdown

It has been reported on a number of websites that Jim Ross will be calling at least one match at WrestleMania. He said in an interview on Thursday that he doesn't know what his role will be at the show, if any. How people keep following websites that report such things as facts is beyond me.

The Spanish version of TNA Impact will begin airing on MTV Tr3s this Friday. That's cool. I hope that builds business for them.

On to PWInsider.com's daily questions. Do I think that Rey Mysterio has been wasted at WrestleMania in years past? Not really. BUT looking at the explanation given, you can make a case for it. I wonder how much of his matches being short has to do with his knee condition? We'll see what goes down this year. And I wonder what character he'll be this go-round.

Another Jeff Hardy-Victory Road question. I can't really add to or dispute their answer to this one.

The next question's a little more controversial, so I'll save it until after the break. Why book Sting as World Champion at this stage of his career? My answer to that and some other questions, plus the rest of the day's news after the break.
I wouldn't say that NO ONE wanted Sting to be TNA Champion, but I know that a lot of fans would rather have AJ, Joe, or someone else younger/fresher in the role (myself included). That being said, they wanted to make a big splash for Sting's return and get the title off of Hardy for his court hearings, so they killed two birds with one stone.

When will we see Amazing Kong in WWE? Having Laycool lose on Sunday WOULD be a nice setup for Kong to attack them on Smackdown come to think of it. But, there has been nothing said on what she'll do in WWE. She's not in FCW and they don't have a new copyrighted name for her that I've seen (TNA owns Awesome Kong), so it's still a mystery.

And finally, I see Lawler beating Cole. That seems like the safest bet of the card, but you never know. Just look at March Madness for how far "Safe bets" go sometimes.

After Dixie Carter's Twitter account was suspended, someone created a new account using her name. The impostor tweeted to Hulk Hogan, who believed that the account was real and retweeted. That caused a good deal of confusion, because you'd think that he'd be a reliable source on the matter.

Update: Twitter re-instated Dixie's original account.

Edge talked about his health, concussions, Chris Benoit, and his life post-wrestling in an interesting interview.

Former WWE Creative team member Chris DeJoseph, perhaps better known as Big Dick Johnson, talked about the build WWE does for WrestleMania with Slam!Sports. Nice read.

WWE Hall of Famer to be Sunny talks enthusiastically about her induction here. Another nice read.

Ernest "The Cat" Miller visited the WWE crew recently. It's believed to be only a visit though.

Speaking of visits, IGN.com visited the Tough Enough house, and has a look at it. They also talk about the format, and Booker T. talks about the differences between WWE and TNA. I highly recommend that part.

Here's a link to some interviews conducted at the WrestleMania press conference, just in case you need more hype for it.

Publicity magnet Snooki talks about being a part of Mania again here.

Old-school WWWF star Bruno Sammartino reminisces about his career and talks about why he's not going into the WWE Hall of Fame at this link. He makes a fair point. He deserves to go in, but no one can or should force him to accept the invitation.

Piers Morgan and The Rock talked behind-the-scenes here after Rock said he would be willing to wrestle again when they talked on his show.

Jerry "The King" Lawler talks about his match with Michael Cole here. There's no shortage of publicity for WrestleMania. I like King's philosophy about personal issues meaning more than championships. Not that championships aren't important!

The Miz was on the  (Atlanta-based) Weather Channel on Thursday, and will be again on Friday to talk about WWE's weather-related issues in the past, and of course WrestleMania.

And here's another interview with Trish Stratus.

Bret Hart has an in-depth solid interview here. I really recommend it.

Finally, here's a look at the new matches made official for Lockdown, in addition to those previously announced:

Matt Morgan vs. Hernandez
Douglas Williams and Magnus as the 4th team against Steiner/Crimson, Ink Inc., and Young/Jordan
Ultimate Xscape match: Max Buck vs. Jeremy Buck vs. Chris Sabin vs. Alex Shelley vs. Suicide vs. Robbie E vs. Jay Lethal vs. Amazing Red vs. Brian Kendrick. Talk about your clustermesses! This one definitely says "put together to get these guys a paycheck".

That's all for the news on the last day of March. More news to come Friday after midnight.
