Tons of Mania press, new WWE and TNA PPV posters, Edge estimates how long is left in his career, Questions on Cole and The Rock, Snooki sticking around?, Brian Christopher hospitalized, Sunny update, Sting turned down a 2011 WWE run, Mania-Metallica connection, WWE wants fans to behave at HoF, Impact and Superstars ratings, Celebrity match at AXXESS, and a bigTNA star at the WWE HoF.

Here's the (non-April Fool's) news for Friday:

The Miz talked WrestleMania on Good Morning Atlanta.

WWE has some new PPV posters for May here (Extreme Rules) and here (Over The Limit).

WWE.com has a feature where you can follow Shawn Michaels' WrestleMania experience. Pretty cool.

Speaking of PPV posters, here's what TNA's going for for Sacrifice. Of note, WWE's going with a picture of "new main event face" Miz and TNA's going with Sting again. This is likely partially to get casual fans' attention who wouldn't know Joe, AJ, Abyss, etc. but would know Sting.

Next, what's Edge latest on the term of his career? Read on to find out, and a lot more after the break.

Here's Edge's interview. Cool that he lives in Asheville now. Nice mountain town. And yes, ladder matches take a toll on you. A lot of big bumpfests do, which is why those matches should mean more than they do at times. I'm mainly looking at TNA here. Not that WWE's immune. He also talks about his days in WWE being numbered, but the guess at 5 years left is more optimistic than previous interviews.

And there were questions on PWInsider.com as always. Here are my thoughts on them: Cole will almost certainly be staying commentary. I think he's pretty well liked backstage in that role, and I don't think they'd take him out of it without a REALLY good reason.

I don't have anything to add to the second answer, other than I'm glad that they didn't feel the need to throw in that (supposedly) Triple H had clashes behind the scenes with The Rock in his original run with the company. Another major website's columnist pointed that out, as if he just HAD to sneak that little jab at H in.

There's nothing to add to the other answers either. I don't want to just repeat what they said.

Variety looked at WWE's plan to hit a million buys for WrestleMania. Pretty shrewd ideas.

For a less serious interview segment from AXXESS, check this out. (No, it's not a Rick Roll or anything like that).

With the stars of "Jersey Shore" asking for more money to do another season, it's possible that the show gets locked out. If that's the case, Snooki has noted that she would be open to being a WWE Diva. Well, that would get people to tune in...

More interviews: Latino Fox News with Alberto Del Rio, Cena talks WWE All-Stars, and Jimmy Hart talks Axxess.

Also, Trish Stratus talks her WWE return and Tough Enough.

Brian Christopher was recently hospitalized for pancreatitis and will need surgery to remove his gallbladder. Ouch. I hope things turn out ok for him.

Sunny didn't initially get to pick who her inductor was for the Hall of Fame ceremony, but is now pleased with who it is. It's being kept as a surprise.

And here's another Cena interview talking WrestleMania and Snooki.

Sting revealed in an interview that he turned down working for WWE and going into the Hall of Fame this year. And I'm not so sure that Sting-Taker would be a better buyrate than HHH-Taker. There's a HUGE section of the WWE audience who never watched WCW (which went out of business an entire decade ago), and a pretty sizable part that doesn't watch TNA. But fans of both promotions are pretty familiar with Triple H.

Triple H will be using a Metallica song in his WrestleMania entrance this year.

Mark Henry talks WrestleMania here. FightNetwork has a big preview of the show here.

BetweenTheRopes has Hall of Fame interviews with Sunny and Shawn Michaels.

WWE wants its fans to wear business casual attire and not chant anything at Saturday's Hall of Fame ceremony. I hope they let people know that through some other means before the weekend of the show so people could make plans.

TNA Impact did a 1.19 rating on Thursday. I'm curious to see how Daniels' return affects ratings.

The second-to-last edition of Superstars on WGN did a .69 rating and a .17 replay. Pretty good for a lot of recap videos. I guess maybe some people missed Raw or something and wanted to catch it for that reason?

Here's a clip of Miss USA Rima Fakih taking bodyslams. The article writer obviously isn't aware that she actually wants to be a wrestler.

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper and MTV's Rob Dyrdek beat Tyson Kidd and Zack Ryder in a special match at AXXESS. Footage will be used on Dyrdek's show.

A final look at AXXESS (for the day) is here.

And finally, TNA icon Ric Flair is in Atlanta to watch Shawn Michaels be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

That's all for today! I'll have more news tomorrow.
