Questions on Orton, PG WWE-Snooki, Lawler retiring, Tamina as Divas' champ, HBK as Mania host, change to match at Mania, more Mania interviews, new documentary goes after Abdullah The Butcher, ex-NXT star gets unique honor, and some Hall of Fame notes

Time now for a very late look at Saturday's news, starting with a look at PWInsider.com's questions.

First, someone wants to know how they (in this case, I) feel about Randy Orton. I think he does a pretty good job. Here's my breakdown of his or her criticisms: If by "doing a horrible job" they're referring to him "overdoing" expressions and all that, he does that so there's absolutely no question of what he's doing, even to the people in the top seats. And more importantly, he's getting over pretty well by doing it, which is pretty much the definition of doing your job. The most important flaw in this argument is that the fans turned Orton face. WWE tried to keep him heel, but the fans started cheering for him so they went that direction. Since the fans enjoy what he's doing now, turning him heel would pretty much require him to change his character completely. As for PWInsider.com's answer, I don't think it killed Austin's "darker" character for him to have Debra around. Antiheroes can have wives, too.

The second question raises a good point. Snooki's definitely not very PG! I think they'd still use her, they just wouldn't show some clips they've shown of her maybe? They had Cheech and Chong, and they're not PG either.

Question 3: Will Jerry Lawler retire after Mania? Nope. I mean, it's possible, but I seriously doubt it. There's nothing to suggest it.

More answers and news after the break!

Will Tamina ever be Divas' Champion? I can't find a confirmed age for her, but she's just getting started in WWE so it seems like she'd get a run with it at some point. That's no guarantee, though.

I'd be kind of surprised if Shawn Michaels hosted WrestleMania next year. You never know, though. It depends on how much we see him now that he's retired AND in the Hall of Fame.

The following is a spoiler for a change in a match at WrestleMania. Highlight it to read it: The Corre attacked Vladimir Kozlov after a match he had at Axxess. Kofi Kingston will replace him on the card. I'm perfectly fine with that, other than I wish they would have announced it sooner.

An independent wrestler has released part of a documentary about his contracting of Hepatitis C. He links this to a blading incident with new WWE Hall of Famer Abdullah The Butcher. A number of other names from the wrestling industry are interviewed on the clip. It's an interesting story to follow. There will undoubtedly be more to come, so I'll save my comments on it for later.

Wade Barrett, Sheamus, and Christian all have interesting interviews from Axxess up.

NXT alum and FCW wrestler Eli Cottonwood made an appearance on E!'s The Soup to accept an award related to his (in)famous "mustache" promo from NXT Season 2.

The Rock will be on Jay Leno's show this coming Tuesday.

Tough Enough contestant and Miss USA Rima Fakih was pointed out at a Toronto Blue Jays game recently, as she's dating one of the players.

More interviews (I'm posting them in the order they were discovered): The Miz and Natalya.

Shawn Michaels hinted at getting involved in Triple H vs. The Undertaker during a Q&A at Axxess.

Booker T. talks about commentating, Tough Enough and more at this link. Nice read.

The Rock has a fairly lengthy non-PG interview of his own here. It's a great listen, and he unsurprisingly hints at getting involved in Cena vs. Miz. He also talks about what we'll see from him in the future and John Cena's comments on him leaving WWE.

Here's another look at Tough Enough with comments from Booker T. and Bill DeMott. They pretty much confirm a Season 2, so I hope that the show's solid.

Finally here are some notes about the WWE Hall of Fame:
In attendance were Linda and Stephanie McMahon, Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, DDP, Lex Luger, Bob Orton, and Wendi Richter.

Jerry Lawler was the MC.

There were plenty of boos, cheers and chants, against WWE's wishes. It's a wrestling crowd; what did they expect!?

Ted DiBiase inducted Jim Duggan. Duggan had a 2x4 in a tie with him.

Bob Armstrong's sons came out to the "Road Dogg" music, which was a nice surprise given their on-again off-again relationship. They even got a Road Dogg-style promo!

The WWE Divas inducted Sunny. I like that idea! She hinted at a return to the company, which she's said she wanted in the past.

Dusty Rhodes inducted the Road Warriors and Paul Ellering.

Kane inducted Drew Carey, who got the aforementioned boos.

Shawn Michaels got a massive ovation.

Triple H, Michaels, Kevin Nash, and Sean Waltman recreated the famous Kliq curtain call. DX music also played.

All in all it sounded like a fantastic show.

That's it for my thoughts tonight. Tomorrow I'll have coverage of WrestleMania, as well as more news and how I'd book the big show!
