Tough Enough thoughts- 4/11/11

It's week 2 of the smash hit returning Tough Enough. Read on for my thoughts on this week's episode.

I like this intro.

That Tough Enough shirt's pretty cool.

Glad Eric's taking this more seriously now.

Sad memories of paralysis and death in the ring.

Ivelisse I wasn't so impressed with. Ryan better step it up too. DeMott's not going to ride him just to ride him.

Luke just one-upped Matt.

That's obviously an old shirt (this show was taped a while back) since it has the (former) full name of WWE.

Good advice from Cena.

So-so bumps from Rima.

Kind of goofy "Stone Cold" impersonation. Kind of funny too.

They could have used dogs like that for "Kennel from Hell".

I don't really care who has a girlfriend and all that type of stuff. I care about who can be a professional wrestler.

That'll definitely test your courage. And speed.

I wonder how much those suits weigh.

Props to Eric for not going down, and the others who didn't.

Stone Cold is not playing around with these guys.

Miss USA being taken down by an attack dog is compelling TV. We need more shows that do that. She's not giving up.

I figured everyone would have to be there at the same time. You DEFINITELY need to be on time or early if you need to catch up.

That's certainly a unique skills challenge, but it makes sense.

Is the blonde chick selling or legitimately that hurt?

Bill's not playing around with these corner charges and slams.

I hope Jeremiah doesn't cut promos in that voice, unless he's going for the Jamie Noble or Jesse role.

Interesting choices. Rima and "Skidmarks" (it's easier for me to remember than his real name apparently) I can see. I'm more surprised by Matt. He needs some personality, but I'd be looking mainly at who isn't doing well in the training. Michelle and Eric surprised me a bit by avoiding the bottom tier this week.

Edge's career over? Say what now? Talk about your teases.

Nice question by Stone Cold to start.

Tough coach. He's pushing these guys for sure.

This is the best part of the show. Stone Cold IS NOT PLAYING AROUND.

Matt's getting a wake-up call here. Not sure if he was the right choice to go home, but you've got to be on your A-game. Especially when you've been in the business 9 years. He certainly didn't endear himself to Austin at the end, and that's what did him in. Was it a snap-second judgment? Maybe. But he could have done a good deal better there.

Another great episode. Hopefully the contestants continue to step it up and don't tick the trainers off anymore. Be on time. Take every chance you have, etc.

That's all for this week. On to Raw!
