Extreme Rules injuries, Questions on heat for Sin Cara, Taker at WM27, Flair's current character, Cena/Rock, and Edge's retirement, McCool comments on Extreme Rules, Raw ratings in Australia, new UWF talents including ex-WWE star, WWE charity, news on Bill DeMott, Kharma changes Twitter name, Jesse Neal comments on Bin Laden's death, ex-TNA star to return to ROH, Christian gets praise, Stone Cold interview, Big Show on Burn Notice, Abyss update, Flair legal update, more Fozzy dates, younger Ziggler gets new FCW name, Smackdown rating, and Extreme Rules visitors

Brodus Clay's head was busted open after his spot in the ladder match at Extreme Rules. He needed staples to close the wound. Ouch.

Update: Jim Ross says that his (JR's) hand is broken as well.

PWInsider.com has some questions up as always, so here's a look at them:

1. If you mean heat by fans and IWC members, it generally boils down to the mishaps ("botches") he's had in his first couple of TV matches/entrances. I read something once about people in WWE being upset that he's being pushed so much, so soon (he didn't go through FCW) as well. I don't know if that's subsided now or not, since they didn't mention it in their answer. I think he'll be fine when he gets his "WWE legs" so to speak (like "sea legs" for people who don't spend much time on boats).

2. I haven't read anything to suggest a concussion or blacking out by Undertaker in that match. The stretched job and all that were planned.

3. It's just Flair being Flair in "crazy old man" form I guess? He doesn't have as many restrictions in TNA, so his promos are more out there than his WWE work.

After the break, how will WWE continue to build Cena vs. Rock for a year? More answers and news to come.

I'm also a bit worried about how they'll keep up the momentum. My guess is they'll mention Rock here and there over the months, but not have much in the way of interaction until closer to Mania time. I'm a little surprised that they had the birthday celebration- I figured we wouldn't see him for a while after the match was made.

For the last one, I usually don't look at the day's news too much until Raw's about to start/starting, so I was caught by surprise with the Edge retirement story. I was more focused on the Tough Enough blog I was doing at the time.

Michelle McCool took to Twitter to discuss her match at Extreme Rules. WWE.com has already moved her to the Alumni section. I haven't heard anything concrete about her plans for the future or WWE contract status. Plenty of hearsay though! She's 31, so she's got plenty of time to return to the ring if she so chooses.

Update: WWE.com has a story on her departure. She's had plenty of injuries in her career, so hopefully they'll all get better now that she's not taking bumps.

WWE Raw was #60 of the top 100 shows in Australia. None of the other WWE shows cracked that list. Tough crowd.

UWF has some new names signed for its PPV debut, including former WWE superstar Ricky Ortiz. Something tells me he won't be waving a rally towel there.

As mentioned on Raw, all proceeds of sales of the Team Bring It t-shirt will go to the Wounded Warriors Foundation. It's on WWEShop.com.

Bill DeMott has reopened his wrestling school, if you're up for that kind of challenge. He has an  autobiography out in a few months as well.

WWE's Kharma has changed her Twitter name. I see dollar signs in her.

Jesse Neal understandably has something to say about Osama Bin Laden's death. I can't believe I'm typing about that story on a wrestling blog.

Jay Lethal is returning to Ring of Honor for their next internet PPV on 6/26. He hasn't appeared for the company since 2006. I wonder if he'll ever end up in FCW?

Bret Hart congratulated Christian on his World Title win on Twitter, as did Jim Ross and many fans.

Stone Cold Steve Austin had a nice interview recently.

Big Show will be appearing on another USA Network show soon as he has a role on Burn Notice. Corporate synergy!

Abyss is expected on compete at the latest Impact tapings, despite his recent dental injury.

PWInsider.com has an update on the Ric Flair-Highspots.com legal case. He could end up in some serious trouble if he doesn't pay up soon.

Chris Jericho's Fozzy will be playing on 6/4, 6/5, and 7/14, so don't count on those dates for a WWE return.

Dolph Ziggler's brother wis now known as "Briley Pierce" in FCW. This is the only time I've ever heard of the name Briley. Ever. FCW needs some new namers.

Smackdown did a 1.96 rating on Friday night. Not bad at all.

DH Smith's mother and former NXT-er Jamie Keyes were visiting at Extreme Rules on Sunday.

That's all for Monday's news. I'll have more tomorrow.
