Who runs TNA?, Savage to be cremated, Questions on Taz, Tough Enough, Survivor Series, Rock/Cena, and a new wrestling promotion, special plans for Destination X?, TNA cancels event, Hogan interview, Raw rating in Australia, DDP's Savage tribute, TNA shake-up, Warrior talks Savage, Raw Roulette to return, Austin on Fallon, Capitol Punishment poster, Sgt. Slaughter/Dusty Rhodes interview, Randy Savage 911 calls released, Savage baseball history profiled, Iron Sheik talks Savage, More feedback on Savage's career, Smackdown rating, and another Savage tribute

Let's start with a few questions submitted to the blog:

What was TNA's reaction to Christian losing again? I haven't heard anything either way about it, and I don't expect to. They'd probably like to have him return there, but I doubt we'll see that any time soon (if at all).

And Dixie Carter runs TNA. Other people might have some influence in what makes it onto TV and who gets hired and fired but she's the head honcho and can ultimately do whatever she pleases.
Edit: It should be noted that Panda Energy, as majority owners of TNA, can supersede any decisions made by the company, including changing the President.

TMZ has a report on what will now be done for Randy Savage. He was a very private person, so the small service shouldn't be surprising.

PWInsider.com has some new questions up:
1. Yes. Taz used to be one of my favorite commentators, but he's starting to bug me in his current run.

2. I also haven't heard anything concrete on a Season 2. If it does happen, it will be a while before it airs. They haven't even done casting yet! I hope it comes back at some point. Even if it's not on USA, surely NBC Universal would want it on another channel given the numbers it's pulling in.

3. I doubt it would happen. There's much less competition on Sundays for one.

More answers and news after the break, starting with complaints about Rock vs. Cena.

4. Because people like to complain. And what they said.

5. That's actually a pretty cool idea. Consider it plugged! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/790983338/wrestling-revolution

PWInsider.com has a mega-post covering everything about Savage from the past few days.

There's talk of having Destination X be based around the X-Division and feature the old 6-sided ring. I'd be somewhat surprised, as I seem to remember them talking of doing that in years past as well.

TNA has canceled an event in Concord, NC for 7/23.

Hulk Hogan was interviewed on the changes to TNA among other things.

Raw drew 24,000 TV viewers in Australia this week. No other wrestling show cracked the top 100.

Diamond Dallas Page discussed his memories of Randy Savage in a video tribute.

Terry Taylor will be replaces by Bruce Prichard as the head of TNA's Talent Relations. This change was a Dixie Carter call. Prichard has somewhat of a bad reputation with some wrestlers, whereas Taylor was well-liked. Prichard will work with TNA's Chief Financial Officer on decisions, but major signings would be subject to approval by Dixie and Janice Carter, the latter of whom has a say in financial matters as an executive of Panda Energy.

The Ultimate Warrior posted a 2-part video tribute to Macho Man Randy Savage.

The 6/27 Raw will have a Raw Roulette theme, as it emanates from Las Vegas, NV. Most of the time that leads to a fun show. Not necessarily one that builds to PPVs or anything, but a fun break from the norm. The show will be 2 hours long.

Steve Austin will be on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon this Friday.

WWE's making sure to promote the Capitol Punishment teasers with Obama as parodies. A caricature of the President is on the official poster. I much prefer the original. This one's a little too silly for my taste, especially since it's promoting action-based clashes. This is definitely more the line of "entertainments" than matches.

Sgt. Slaughter was interviewed about the controversial "Iraqi sympathizer" angle from years back. The piece also has quotes from Dusty Rhodes. It talks about both of their current roles in WWE.

Candice Michelle appeared on the NBC National Heads Up Poker Championships, promoting Go Daddy.

The 911 calls made after Randy Savage's car wreck were released and published by TMZ.

Sports Illustrated went into Savage's baseball career.

The Iron Sheik was on Howard Stern to talk about Savage's passing. Here's a transcript of the show.

PWTorch.com has published even more Savage memories from readers.

Smackdown got a 1.92 rating on Friday, up from the last few weeks.

Finally, the New York Yankess paid tribute to Randy Savage at a recent game.

That's all for Monday's news. More to come tomorrow!
