WWE house show notes, Questions on WWE pushing new talent, Orton as champion, Hogan taking blame, the TV Title, and Rhodes' mask, Billy Gunn interview, upcoming WWE DVD, Jericho talks McMahon, and a possible TNA spoiler

Sin Cara will compete on the Raw brand house shows in Mexico this week in "Raw vs. Smackdown" matches with C.M. Punk.

PWInsider.com has some more questions today. For #1, I assumed he meant the new people WWE has been pushing the last couple of years: Del Rio, Sheamus, Barrett, Miz, Swagger, McIntyre, Kingston, Rhodes, Bryan, Brodus Clay, and the other Nexus/Corre guys. I'm sure I'm leaving some people out. Some are getting over, but not at the level of some of the people they don't have there anymore or work a limited schedule (Batista, HBK, HHH, Taker, Edge).

For #2, my guess is they weren't thinking of it like that. It seems more of a case of "we just lost an established top babyface, let's replace him with an established top babyface". It's a tough call to make sometimes with taking a risk on a new main eventer.

For #3, at first I was going to skip this one, but then I thought of his recent interview. He did sort of take the blame for TNA's move to Mondays, so there's that.

More answers and news after the break, starting with whether TNA should make the TV Title more relevant on PPVs.

Yes. It could be a great tool to get people closer to the World Title scene, and get them noticed/more over, etc.

For #5, what they said. AND it wouldn't surprise me if it some point they did a different mask or series of different masks (like Mysterio) if they want his story to progress in that matter.

This link has a new interview with Billy Gunn and a number of other wrestling news nuggets.

WWE now has t-shirts and hats with logos for the original ECW, Starrcade, and the "Alliance" era WCW. It will be interesting to see how well those sell and what it means if they do well.

WWE has a Ted DiBiase, Sr. DVD planned for later this year, which is a bit of a no-brainer.

Chris Jericho was interviewed recently, making references to his book "Undisputed".

Ric Flair said in a recent interview that if he had his way, he'd be challenging Sting for the TNA World Championship. I don't think that they could pull it off in 2011, honestly. But it could get people to check the product out if promoted right.

One thing that I might not have covered yesterday: MVP and WWE are open to a return at some point, as he left on good terms to work in Japan.

That's all for Wednesday's news. More to come tomorrow.
