News on Chyna and "Impact Wrestling", Questions on a new ECW-type brand, announcers knowing matches, and Cody Rhodes, Orton talks titles, Flair talks about the European incident, TNA's new mobile game, another Taz Dojo promo, TNA cancels live events, Lesnar hurt, Jericho talks comeback again, Capitol Punishment logo, TNA website re-designs, and new matches for Sacrifice

TMZ has a story on Chyna's involvement in TNA. I'm really curious as to where this goes. Hopefully she's at a good place in her life and can contribute to the company. But how long will they use her?

PWTorch reported that she was chosen for the role over Isis the Amazon. As of Thursday, I hadn't read a more credible source confirming that, so take it with some salt. They also report that Isis was received poorly backstage, which Tara denied on Twitter back when the story first came out. So, one side is either not aware of the whole story or covering up. I wouldn't normally report that since it's disputed, but it was part of the same story.

As noted on Thursday's show, "TNA Impact" will now be known as "Impact Wrestling". The company will keep the TNA name for now, but the name of the show has changed.

On to Thursday's PWInsider.com questions:
First off, I love the word "Juggalo" for some reason. Someone needs to do a Photoshop (or Paint.net or GIMP or whatever program they prefer) of Rob Schneider as "Deuce Bigelow: European Juggalo". Anyway, that's a pretty interesting comparison. When I first read this, I wasn't so sure, but after a look into it, it's doing pretty well for itself. As for making it to ECW's level, that remains to be seen. I'm impressed so far, though. If they can turn non-Juggalos into regular customers, then things could be looking really good for them.

After the break, will we see Sin Cara vs. Rey Mysterio at WM28? And the rest of Thursday's questions, news and notes.

I hope they keep them separate for long enough for Cara to do really well on his own beforehand, so I think they just might wait to do that one. Maybe for a Mexican WrestleMania? However, WWE has rushed things before, so I wouldn't rule out seeing that then if not sooner.

To add to what they said for #3, WCW pulled the opposite approach and it didn't work out too well. This way, the announcers know "hey this is the ending" so they won't be in the middle of a tangent when the match ends.

Nothing to add to #4.

And I really like Cody Rhodes as well. I don't think he's quite as good as others think he is (it sounds like the questioner is part of the "hype backlash" reaction), but he's really stepped up his game since the move to Smackdown. Some of that could be that the show's just a better fit for him creatively, but I think he's also improved on the mic and in the ring since his Legacy days. And he's only 25, so he's got plenty of years ahead of him to move up the ladder.

Author Kevin Sullivan posted part of an interview he conducted with Randy Orton for his book on the WWE Championship. Nice read.

Here's a piece promoting Monday's Raw.

This link has an excerpt of an interview with Ric Flair discussing the issue in Europe a few months back with TNA, as well as a look at the company's upcoming mobile game. Flair's kind of spinning the issue, based on PWInsider.com's original report of it. TNA doesn't pay people IN ADVANCE before their shows. It's a policy that applies to everyone, and Flair was upset that he wasn't exempt. The policy had been abused in the past, which is why they changed it.

Taz has a new video promoting his Dojo/Finishing School.

TNA has canceled its house shows for 6/3 and 6/4.

Brock Lesnar is suffering from another bout of diverticulitis. I wish him the best in recovery and can't wait to read his upcoming book.

Chris Jericho has a new interview up. A WWE return continues to be up in the air. Either that or he really enjoys leading us all around. Actually, knowing him, it's both.

WWE has unveiled a new logo for its upcoming Capitol Punishment PPV. I'm not really crazy about it. Interesting to note that KMart's logo is next to WWE's on some of the clips there. They're getting plenty of mileage from their deal with the company.

The domain Impactwrestling.com now re-directs to TNA's website. The whole site has been re-designed and the new "Impact Wrestling" logo is all over the place. I think it looks kind of silly, since everything else in TNA goes with the red and black motif. It doesn't say "Action" as much. The TNA logo isn't featured at all on the promo pictures for Impact Wrestling. I find that odd. Even with the big push for "wrestling" mattering, I don't see why they wouldn't want the company name on it. Unless of course, this is step one in their total re-branding of the company as something other than TNA. The TNA Champion and TNA Superstars will be all over Impact Wrestling (the show) for now though.

Mexican America vs. Ink, Inc. and Brian Kendrick vs. Robbie E have been added to Sunday's Sacrifice PPV. The first one makes sense, but the second one feels really thrown on.

That's all for Thursday's news. I'll have Smackdown thoughts up later and Friday's news post will likely be up tonight as well.
