More charity work from Foley, Questions on fan interactions, Melina vs. Alicia Fox, Vince on Christian, pushing commentators, and Orton's face turn, Fox injured, Edge to join cast of SyFy show, Will Stephanie return to TV?, Rock interview, WWE salutes heels, and HHH talks about his in-ring future,

Mick Foley continues to raise money for RAINN, despite passing his $100,000 goal. Currently he's auctioning off some pretty important memorabilia from his career: the Mr. Socko he used in his first WWF Championship win over The Rock, the original sleeveless shirt for Mankind, and even the bloodied, ragged shirt he wore in his match with Ric Flair last year. More details here. The article notes that said match with Flair could be his last match ever. He's certainly done a lot for charity in the past number of years. He's notoriously frugal, so he's not doing it for himself.

Here are my thoughts on today's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It depends on the wrestler and the situation. A wrestler at a planned autograph session would likely be happier than one who's coming off an airplane at 4 a.m. or something. Pretty much everyone has good and bad times to approach them. Of course, what they said about fans' behavior is a factor as well. If you go up to C.M. Punk and say "Hey Phil, what's up?", he probably won't react favorably (unless maybe you know him personally). I doubt that they don't appreciate their fans. If it wasn't for them, they wouldn't have a job!

2. Apparently they've had 3(?) televised matches in the past. People really ran with that comment and tracked down the matches they did have. I doubt any of them were 5-star classics or extremely memorable. Not that I dislike either of them; they just wouldn't come to mind on my list of favorite matches.

3. It's a mystery! Seriously, I've never heard any reason for it. McMahon and WWE fans don't always agree on who should be pushed.

More answers and news after the break, starting with why WWE is pushing commentators.

Because people are tuning in to see the angle and crowds are reacting to it. The same reason they do pretty much everything they do.

For #5, presumably they wanted to make him more of a typical babyface. I don't think they'll make him into another John Cena or anything, but I don't think he'll be quite as heelish going forward. Not to mention that they want him to look good because he's in a family movie now. The punts and intensity and all will likely stay, though.

Alicia Fox is believed to have injured her shoulder during the Smackdown taping. More on that when it becomes available.

Edge will join the cast of the SyFy show "Haven", which also airs on Friday nights. This continues the theme of WWE stars appearing in other shows on their home networks.

Stephanie McMahon commented on her current role in the company and if she'd return to TV in a talk with the Baltimore Sun. I'd be pretty surprised if she didn't end up back on TV at some point. But, I would have said the same thing about Linda or Shane after their last appearances, and now neither of them are with the company!

The Rock talked WWE, Fast Five, and cars with Fox News. I can definitely see some people getting upset with the comment on Priuses.

Speaking of The Rock, his Pledge of Allegiance on Raw was featured on Access Hollywood on Tuesday.

WWE.com has a feature on heels it's dubbing the "Hall of Infamy". No word on if this will be a yearly thing, but it's definitely a good concept.

Triple H commented on his current role in WWE and what it means for him in the ring. More good comments from someone who "gets it". He's doing well so far in signings.

That's all for Wednesday's news, with the exception of things related to spoilers. I'll be posting those items once they're no longer spoilers (i.e. later this week). I'll have more news tomorrow.
