Announcement of roster for BFG, Interviews with Stephanie/R-Truth/Angle/Goldberg, wrestling in NK, profile of the Bull, new DVD covers, Jake Roberts update and Questions on Comic-Con on the WWE Network, TNA hiring Russo, Chael Sonnen, Ryback vs. Lesnar and where Cena goes from here

TNA has announced a list of names appearing at Bound For Glory. They usually save some of the big names for later announcements, so the sparse roster's not a big surprise. It will be interesting (and perhaps depressing) to see who will and won't still be in TNA by the time BFG comes around.

Stephanie McMahon talked about WWE superfan Connor Michalek. That was pretty touching. I hope it wouldn't be seen as exploitative if he was put into the WWE Hall of Fame's celebrity wing. I'd love to see something like that.

R-Truth talked about working hurt and more. He's great in the role of journeyman helping less-experienced performers. As for a career highlight, I definitely point to his run as a heel vs. Cena. That was one of the best heel turns I've ever seen. It gave him something fresh to do and new fire to his character.

Everything else from Friday is after the break.
Kurt Angle talked about Bruno Sammartino. Will we ever see Kurt and Bruno in a segment together in WWE? I think it'd be pretty cool.

Antonio Inoki and Bob Sapp working in North Korea was profiled. I'm glad they did that for the kids involved.

WWE.com profiled Bull Dempsey. I can see the influence from Taz. Matt Borne's a good name to bring up, too, as far as the old-school days. Dick Murdoch is also another feather in his cap as far as credibility goes. I hold Dempsey in a higher regard after reading that article.

DVD covers for WWE's Macho Man collection and Summerslam have been released. Cena got so BTFO he isn't even on the cover. I wonder how many little Jimmys won't want the DVD with that cover.

Goldberg talked about Sting potentially wrestling in WWE. That's not very conclusive...

Jake Roberts was transferred to a different hospital Friday as he continues to battle double pneumonia. I hope that's a good sign.

For my take on Friday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. That would definitely have been a good move on their part. I wonder why they didn't go that route.

2. Yeah, TNA's spin would be they did offer Styles and Sabin new deals. It's possible Bad Influence and Sabin would have been gone regardless of the other factors going on in TNA. They definitely lost four talented individuals who had name value with TNA fans. It's hard to not see their departures as minuses for TNA overall. As for Russo, he has some magical ability to keep finding work in the wrestling business.

3. I don't anticipate WWE responding to the matter, so for now we pretty much just have his word. I doubt we see him in WWE or TNA.

4. Ryback seems like something of a long shot. Reigns, Cesaro and Bryan would be my top estimates for taking Lesnar down. As for repeat matches, that's been going on forever. And WWE's pretty keen on protecting Cena as a top name, having him appear when he can in a top capacity. I don't necessarily think he should be losing to Sandow and Ziggler given where they are on the card, but showing vulnerability to the likes of Wyatt would be good given Wyatt's recent successes.
