Flair update, Interviews with top NXT prospects/Stardust/Bret Hart, NXT preview, NXT releases, and Questions on Cena selling injuries, PPVs on other nights, pushing NXT, and the fate of Impact Wrestling

Ric Flair is being advertised for WWE's live events in Mexico next month, so he's expected to be fully recovered by then. I hope so, for everyone's sake.

WWE.com interviewed five top NXT prospects: Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville, Hideo Itami, Fergal Devit, and Kevin Steen. What a lineup! They have some good points about not being stereotypes and all that. I'm glad to see it. All of them who talked sound excited to be there and make an impact. I really hope they all knock it out of the park. I wonder how many of those indie names they dropped are on the WWE radar and actually have a chance to be signed? Adam Cole and the Young Bucks have tried out before.

Set for the next episode of NXT:
- NXT Tag Team Championship: Lucha Dragons vs. The Ascension
- Bull Dempsey vs. Mojo Rawley
- Tyler Breeze vs. Justin Gabriel
- Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss
- Enzo Amore vs. Marcus Louis

That should be a good enough show.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
WWE has released NXT Diva Kendall Skye. She had wrestled on live events, but never on the TV show. She had also worked as a ring announcer. Skye had a great athletic background before being signed, so I was hoping she'd do impressive things. Sadly, that didn't come to pass.

Update: WWE also released Troy McLain, signed as Alexander Jones. I remember him being a really impressive signing from a physical, athletic standpoint. It's a shame he didn't become a success.

Stardust talked before Night of Champions. I can see the comparisons to Gorshin's Riddler as far as the kind of energy that's brought to the role. Stardust's definitely an odd gimmick, but I like that Cody keeps successfully reinventing himself.

Bret Hart talked about a number of career topics. Nothing too groundbreaking. I'd be surprised to see Cena beat Brock.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I don't think we've seen about as much vulnerability as we'll see from Cena, unless Brock manhandles him again. Even then, don't expect their top babyface to miss a lot of time.

2. Interesting! I figured they wouldn't want to compete with UFC's PPV night. It's something to watch as the Network continues to change the wrestling landscape.

3. That's cool. I hope it succeeds in getting people to watch NXT!

Nothing to add to 4.

5. Considering how long the two sides have been talking, it doesn't really look like Spike's committed to keeping TNA long-term at this juncture. That doesn't mean TNA's dead or even that they'll die at the end of the year, but they're definitely in a tight spot and that doesn't look to be changing right now.

More wrestling tomorrow.
