Title match set for NoC, Rollins appearance, Interviews with Goldust/McIntyre, Wrestle-1 names at BFG, former X-Division Champion re-signs to TNA and Questions on Sandow's booking, Bram, managers, saving Miz and ROH attendance

Sheamus will defend the U.S. Title against Cesaro at Night of Champions. No surprise there. I hope both of them show they can be used higher up on the card. I'd much rather see those two in big roles in 2014 than Show, Kane and Henry.

Seth Rollins will appear at The Gamestop Expo in Anaheim, CA on Sept. 10 ahead of the launch of WWE 2K15. Can he cash in MITB there?

Goldust talked before Summerslam. No face paint, sadly. It's cool to hear from the experienced pro. Good words about his success in the business.

Everything else from Saturday is after the break.

Tajiri and The Great Muta have been confirmed for Bound For Glory. I'm guessing one of them will work against The Great Sanada. Maybe a tag match against Sanada and Storm?

TJ Perkins, a.k.a. Manik, has signed a new deal with TNA. It's likely an extension of his previous contract. He's still pretty young, so he could have quite the career ahead of him.

The former Drew McIntyre talked about life after WWE. I really want him to be successful. It's a shame WWE's pretty much the only major player right now. Hopefully TNA or GFW picks up the ball with him and runs with it.

For my take on Saturday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I like the answer they gave here. I do think Sandow's doing a great job in his current role. I also think he could be used effectively as a more serious character. There's not a lot else to say other than I agree with the point that generally SOMEONE has to be stuck in the role he's in right now of losing quick matches in embarrassing fashion. It provides variety with the more serious and competitive matches.

2. I was also worried when he got signed given the problems he had previously. Thankfully, so far he's worked out well for TNA. They need to pick up people they can mold into "TNA" stars and Bram's a fine choice for that.

3. All the names mentioned are great in their roles. Spud's one of the best parts of TNA, generally. They do so much "balls to the wall" hardcore stuff and spotfests that he stands out even more in his role.

4. I hope Miz regains his momentum. He's gone through a rough patch, for sure. I hope we get an Awesome Truth reunion going for the tag team gold at some point, although R-Truth is used well as he is now.

5. They drew 3,000 in Hammerstein once, but it doesn't look like there's a lot of info out there about attendance overall.

More wrestling tomorrow.
