Upcoming top TNA matches, Bully signs short-term TNA deal, another superhero on Raw?, Savage DVD details, AWF promoter passes, AJ/Paige angle update, new name for NXT Diva, Flair health update, Interviews with Henry/Rock/Miz, Impact audience, and Questions on NXT's priority, KENTA with Heyman, Taker in a movie, Kane's early WWF gimmick, and Cornette saving tapes

Announced for this week's Impact Wrestling tapings (to air in the weeks to come):
- TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Lashley vs. Bobby Roode
- Full Metal Mayhem for the TNA Tag Team Championship: The Wolves vs. Team 3D vs. The Hardys. This is the final match in the series.

So, Bully Ray has signed a short-term deal to at least work that match. Presumably he'll appear at BFG as well as part of the Hall of Fame. Beyond that, it's anyone's guess for both members of Team 3D.

Those matches are both awesome, but what the heck is TNA doing for Bound For Glory, the biggest show of the year?

Stephen Amell, who appears as the Green Arrow on CW's "Arrow", has pitched making an appearance for WWE. He even offered to wrestle. Book it! He could easily just KO Sandow.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Here's the rundown of WWE's upcoming Randy Savage DVD. Can it please lead to him going into the Hall of Fame?

Paul Alperstein, who promoted the mid-'90s promotion American Wrestling Federation, has passed away at the age of 58. PWInsider has a rundown of his career. I'm not personally familiar with his work, but it's a shame his health deteriorated that much.

WWE Creative has pitched intensifying the lesbian undertones of the AJ Lee/Paige storyline. That'll get people talking! I don't know how far they'll actually go with that in today's WWE, though.

NXT singing Lina Fanene will now be known as "Zada". She's the cousin of The Rock who was recently involved in a car crash. I'm very glad she's OK from that and wish her the best in her career.

Ric Flair was scheduled to be released from the hospital today after a number of minor surgeries. That's good news!

WWE posted some more footage from the Brock Lesnar/John Cena brawl from Monday. Night of Champions should be pretty intense!

Mark Henry talked ahead of Night of Champions. The Attitude Era and Sexual Chocolate and all that were a LONG time ago in the world of wrestling. There are quite a few fans who weren't even born then! I appreciate the interviewer delving into the injuries and such, but clearly Henry was there to push the current-day events.

The Rock talked about the trouble he got in in his youth. I can't wait to read his autobiography. Few have done what he's done.

The Miz talked about Damien Mizdow, feuding with Cena, and more. In order:

- I like Miz. He's very dedicated to his craft. I could see how it'd be tough to be around someone that fired up 24/7, though.

- The WM27 video was fantastic. I miss that version of Miz with Alex Riley.

- I'm also impressed with a number of  NXT talents. Tyler Breeze is coming along pretty well, and I love his character. I think he could easily be Dolph Ziggler's cousin or something. The veteran could take him under his wing.

Impact hit 1.11 million viewers Wednesday night for the No Surrender special. Ratings are still kind of iffy on Wednesdays. The show's been excellent at times lately, but I think a lot of people have kind of given up. TNA's audience could very well have plateaued.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think NXT is a big priority for WWE going forward. Triple H certainly has plans for it to become more than just "developmental". I'm excited! Hopefully NXT content really catches on and inspires a change to what we see on the main roster.

2. Please!? As much as I like Heyman as the manager for the Beast Incarnate, I'd love to see him manage Cesaro and Itami as future top-tier guys. WM31 is currently Brock's last WWE date, so maybe we see Heyman use his services for some other names after that?

3. I think Taker is increasingly OK with being Mark Calaway and not worrying about protecting kayfabe. So we could very well see him in a movie at some point. I personally think the Taker origin story movie is a pretty cool idea if they do it right. They'd have to have someone else play Paul Bearer, sadly, but they'd also need someone to play a younger Taker. Hmmm...

4. That's Dr. Isaac Yankem! Notably Kane wasn't too interested in talking about the character in a radio interview not too long ago. He's separating himself more and more from his wrestling personas in some ways as he explores other interests (namely politics and insurance).

5. I'll spare you the Cornette impression. Wrestling was just one part of the Turner media empire, and was just treated like just another corporate commodity under their umbrella. Needless to say, Cornette cared a lot more about those tapes than the Turner corporate types, some of whom were probably embarrassed to have "rasslin'" there.

More wrestling tomorrow.
