Impact Wrestling Reax - 9/25/14

Read on for my thoughts on last night's Impact Wrestling.

This feels more like a One Night Only PPV than an episodic event. It definitely doesn't feel like TNA's building toward a major event like BFG.

I think that could have been the best MVP match I've ever seen. He and Low Ki made for a great combination and told a good story.

They could tease a Bromans breakup with the Gold Rush tournament if Robbie has a chance to win it. I don't think they should, though.

They're jumping right into the finals of the Tag Team Title series next week. I can't say I'm too surprised.

I liked the promo from Robbie E before his match. He makes for a great lower-level antagonist.

That was an OK match between Robbie E and Tajiri. I was a big fan of the latter in his heyday, but I don't think he's at that level anymore.

The EC3/Spud angle gets more interesting in coming weeks. I'm pretty excited to see how it plays out.

That was a pretty good match between Aries and Knux. I like the idea of Aries going for a title.

Roode vs. Lashley would have made sense for Bound for Glory, but they're doing it on a future episode of Impact instead. BFG is probably just going to be a glorified One Night Only event.

Magnus vs. Anderson was fine enough. I couldn't care much less about Anderson, as his character's pretty much done the same thing since his WWE days.

Lots of videos tonight! They only taped so much content, so they're padding things out with videos. That could be even more of a problem in the coming weeks and months.

Meh. Not an amazing match between Abyss and Shaw. I guess they're building AByss back up for something for the time being. He could make for an interesting challenger to Lashley.

That was a pretty good main event for the players involved. Tajiri kind of slowed the match down, though, which doesn't bode well for him being a big part of Bound For Glory.

More wrestling coming up.
