- The company is taping its 1,100th episode this weekend. Another OVW series could soon arrive.

- Former OVW stars are being contacted to return.

- They have returned to doing live shows.

Ethan Page's Impact contract expires at the end of 2020. He's already teasing moving elsewhere. Wherever he ends up, I hope he's used well. He's got something worth investing in.

MLW responded to Davey Boy Smith, Jr.'s claims of the company blocking him from performing in Impact. It sounds like we won't see Davey in MLW again. 

Eddie Edwards got local press. I enjoy a lot of Impact, but putting them with WWE and AEW as "the big three" is a little dishonest. There's a big gap between AEW's reach in 2020 and Impact's. 

Dakota Kai spoke in New Zealand. 

Smackdown drew 1.98 million viewers this week. RETRIBUTION hasn't led to a sudden major growth in viewers, so we'll see how long it lasts.

WWE has leased the Amway Center through October 30. 

Seth Rollins vs. Dominik Mysterio at Summerslam is now officially a street fight. I could see Rey returning to give his son the win.

WWE has trademarked Saturday Night's Main Event. I could see them doing a WWE Network special under that name.

Stardom canceled an event following a positive COVID-19 result from a roster member who was not on the scheduled shows. They are rescheduling tournament matches scheduled for that event.

Tokyo Joshi Pro canceled August 16 and August 23 shows due to a positive COVID-19 result from a wrestler who was not on their most recent event. Japanese promotions continue to take precautions in the COVID era.

Countdown to All Out will air after the September 2 Dynamite.

Dynamite will have a special one-hour episode September 16 following the NBA playoff game, then a two-hour new episode September 17. That's an interesting approach, for sure, but I think it might end up being a clever one.
