Read on for my thoughts on last night's NXT.
- Gargano vs. Ridge:
I like the idea of the established guy helping showcase the newcomer.
Ridge getting to shine with Gargano's work here.
This is pretty solid.
Gargano makes great matches look easy.
They're telling a good story.
Very glad Holland has this opportunity instead of seeing more of the people good enough for Raw and Smackdown.
I mean damn Johnny's really giving a lot to Ridge here.
Very big match for Ridge.
- Kai vs. Kamea:
That was OK.
- Kai/Io/Raquel:
I enjoy this side of Dakota.
Oh wow! Didn't expect her back given how randomly absent she's been.
Good all around.
- Tegan interview:
Interesting direction. They're not rushing to a big match.
- Finn promo:
Mostly good!
- Legado vs. Scott/Breezango:
I like this start.
Both sides are motivated here. This isn't about having a great match; it's a fight.
I'm liking the teamwork here. Glad Raul and Wilde have something to do.
Scott's impressive. He's not alone in that regard in this match.
Nice match overall.
- UE/McAfee:
Well I hope this brings the attention NXT is hoping for.
Nice touch with Cole doing this one on one.
Honestly McAfee's a pretty strong promo.

- Aliyah/Mercedes vs. Rhea/Shotzi:
Rhea and Shotzi make a natural team.
The Stone Brand is working together well.
Rhea vs. Mercedes is pretty fun.
Good ending.
- Finn vs. Dream:
I like this contrast.
This is going well so far.
Interesting to see Grimes here.
This is heating up well.
Oh boy this is going to be a clustermess, huh?
