Wrestling content updates, assorted wrestling press, Interviews with Shaul/EY/Arquette/Dominik/HHH, NJPW title changes, new Payback match, NXT replays set for Tuesday episodes, NWA title match booked, Impact segment set, and Questions on Roman-Heyman, ROH footage on WWE DVDs, WWC footage, and animals in wrestling

WWE has created a Ric Flair custom championship.

WWE is working with Red Cross on Hurricane Laura relief.

Shaul Guerrero was interviewed by SLAM! Wrestling

At NJPW Summer Struggle:

- Minoru Suzuki defeated Shingo Takagi for the NEVER Championship.

- Toru Yano won the KOPW trophy in a match with Kazuchika Okada.

- Taiji Ishimori defeated Hiromu Takahashi to become IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion.

- Tetsuya Naito defeated EVIL to regain the IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Championships.

Jerry Lawler's Broken Skull Sessions episode will air September 6.

WWE Network updates:

- Payback 2017 has been added to the free tier of the service.

- Sasha Banks will be on "WWE Break It Down" Friday.

- The Rock will be covered on "WWE Timeline" Tuesday, specifically his time in The Nation of Domination.

Eric Young is on The Shining Wizards Wrestling podcast, recapped here:

- I'm not sure of the number of homes AXS is in compared to Destination America or Pop, but their current viewership is so low there aren't even reports of the audience each week because it doesn't chart in the top 150 of shows. Financially it could be a good deal for them, however.

- WWE is definitely growing financially, just not at quite the pace they wanted due to the pandemic.

- I would think AEW is doing pretty well with their new TV deal, too, though not having ticket sales I'm sure is really hurting them.

- I like EY but I think WWE not using him was more of a case of there being a lot of other talented names they could use.

- Hahaha Omega was there way before he did anything of note, so Vince didn't really miss the ball there.

- There's a fair criticism that Vince is in his own bubble.

- Eric is very confident in himself. He's doing great work, but by his own admission it's for the number three at best U.S. company.

Payback has added Sheamus vs. Big E.

NXT will get SyFy replays September 2 and September 9 due to airing Tuesdays those weeks because of NHL playoffs.

David Arquette spoke to Access Hollywood about his documentary.

United Wrestling Network's Primetime Live has added Nick Aldis vs. Mike Bennett for the NWA Championship. That's significant!

Dominik Mysterio spoke to TalkSport about Summerslam.

Triple H spoke to Metro about NXT UK returning and more.

"The Bump" before Payback featured Booker T. and Keith Lee.

The Collective will take place October 9-11 in Indiana in front of 500 people maximum. This was originally set for WrestleMania weekend.

Impact has added Deonna Purrazzo hosting a "black tie affair" after her Ironman victory.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:

1. It definitely feels like a heel turn.

2. The two sides worked out a deal where WWE paid for the ability to show that footage on that DVD.

3. It takes a LOOOOOONG time to get footage that old ready for WWE Network, since they can only work on so much of it at a time and a lot of it isn't in pristine condition. It's much easier to get something recent uploaded.

Nothing to add to 4.

5. It's still pretty surreal that went on as long as it did given the difficulties involved.

More wrestling tomorrow.
