Thunderdome set in motion, wrestling content updates, Summerslam meet and greets, WWE announcer leaving, ROH debut set, HHH conference call, Summerslam weekend press, Bret content removed from Network, new Takeover match, and Questions on dropped angles and WWE tone inconsistency

WWE recruited Thunderdome fans virtually Thursday. Smackdown registrations were filled within minutes. This could be a big step forward for WWE or a big disaster if it's hijacked.

- Thunderdome was tested with a match in front of select virtual fans Wednesday night.

ROH TV this week will focus on The Allure.

Summerslam weekend will have virtual meet and greets with Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Braun Strowman, Bayley, and Keith Lee.

MLW is partnering with NERDS to create merchandise.

The Bump before Summerslam will feature Mark Henry, Mandy Rose, Andrade, Angel Garza, Zelina Vega, and the Hurt Business.

Billie Kay has launched a YouTube channel.

Renee Young has given notice to leave WWE. There is currently no exit date set. That's really notable. I'm curious what she has planned next.

- Paul Heyman commented on the news.

EC3 is working ROH's TV tapings this week. I really didn't see that coming; it will be interesting to see how he fits in there and what kind of changes are in store for the company.

Sports Illustrated previewed Thunderdome. It's very good to see a larger venue!

Triple H held a pre-Takeover XXX conference call, recapped here:

- I'm VERY interested what conversations were had about staying in Full Sail. Especially given the ratings against Dynamite.

- Frankly they haven't had to worry about talent leaving for Raw and Smackdown for a while with few exceptions.

- If I'm WWE, NXT is getting raided when the draft hits. It's long overdue.

- All brands need to be supported, but Raw and Smackdown are much higher profile and are worth a lot more money. That needs to be reflected.

- I'm curious if McAfee is interested in being a more regular part of NXT.

Drew McIntyre is on "After The Bell" this week.

Drew McIntyre promoted Summerslam with The Mirror and Loudwire

Mark Henry is on Pat McAfee's latest show.

WWE Network has pulled Bret Hart documentaries. There's speculation this is due to Stampede Wrestling footage Bret owns. Bret being difficult once again.

Dominik Mysterio got ESPN coverage. Very good piece.

Triple H is on Bill Simmons' latest podcast.

Takeover XXX's pre-show has added Breezango vs. Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza vs. One Two in a number one contenders' match for the tag team championship. I'm glad Wilde and Mendoza aren't stuck in the cruiserweight division.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:

Frankly 1 and 2 aren't worth an answer.

3. No comment.

4. Long story short they changed their minds on both ideas.

5. Basically some angles are meant to be ridiculous and not taken seriously (like Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner) while others are played as "real."

More wrestling tomorrow.
