Read on for how I'd book tonight's WWE Network special.
Kickoff:
The Miz puts over being a big Hollywood star because he was just off filming a movie. He discusses how his former proteges learn the hard way not to leave his side: Damien Mizdow is now trying to relive the '80s, Alex Riley was injured by Kevin Owens, and his guest tonight has had to relinquish two titles since WM30. This brings out Bryan, and Miz takes credit for his success. Because if Miz had never headlined WrestleMania for the WWE Championship and later become IC Champion, it would never have paved the way for Bryan to do the same thing.
Needless to say, Bryan talks about how he has a big DVD of his own coming out and an autobiography and how he's an inspiration and a hero and all that. Miz says one thing he won't be after tonight is Intercontinental Champion. Bryan goads Miz into replacing the injured Rusev in the Chamber match. If they want a bigger surprise and a babyface to enter, Mark Henry can come down and take Miz out to accept instead. They could tie it in to Miz saying Bryan only got a chance to be champion because Henry got injured.
Elimination Chamber:
Neville beats Dallas because why shouldn't he? I see him as a challenger for the U.S., IC, and Tag Team Titles for the foreseeable future. This should be a time for Bo to show us what he's made of, too.
The New Day retain the tag team titles. My only booking direction is there needs to be a spot after a team is eliminated where Xavier Woods enters the Chamber only to be attacked by El Torito and slapped by Natalya to get him out of there.
Miz surviving the Elimination Chamber could be interesting, saving Ziggler, BNB, and Sheamus for the MITB match. I'm going with Ryback because it gives us a Ryback/Wyatt feud for the title and other names can compete in MITB instead of for the IC Title.
Naomi wins the title to give us something new and fresh in the Divas' division. Since Naomi's working with Tamina and Nikki's working with Brie, Paige needs someone to look after her as well in the chase for the title. Cue finally calling up Charlotte. Naomi has both Bellas and Paige to defend against for now, but they can do Naomi vs. Charlotte at Battleground and/or Summerslam.
As much as I'd LOVE for Owens to beat Cena clean in his first main roster match, I think it'd be better to drag the feud out at least one more PPV. Owens beats the living hell out of him, hitting several powerbombs over the course of the match. They can have the ref stop the match or throw it out for getting too out of hand. Maybe Owens hits Cena with one of the titles to get DQ'd? Either way, we're getting a rematch at MITB.
Rollins beats Ambrose in a war. Reigns and Orton prevent Kane and J&J Security from getting too involved. They can do some fun run-in spots like HHH vs. Sting if they want. I think I'd save Big Show's return for Raw, because him coming in to keep the title on Rollins is the surest way to end the show on a bad note. How about Reigns/Orton/Ambrose vs. Rollins/Kane/Show at MITB?
More wrestling coming up.
