NXT/WWE live event notes, Shelton and Matt Hardy on TNA, Interviews with Rollins/Neville, and Questions on the rights to the MVP name, ROH pushing TNA to do better, why the Elimination Chamber event, Kamala, and Final Countdown

Here's a report from this weekend's NXT live event. I like the idea of Charlotte and Sasha helping out the newer NXT women. There's not a lot else for them to do on the Florida live events. And some new recruits being put in the mix is good, too. Experience in front of a crowd is a good teacher!

Shelton Benjamin discussed recently negotiating with TNA. People really need to learn how to use something like Twitlonger for things like this. He could have been a great asset for TNA if he can still go at a high level. Hopefully we'll at least see Shelton on TV through GFW. I've missed him since the WWE days.

Seth Rollins talked about dropping the Curb Stomp and more:
- Rollins is making a lot more money in WWE. I don't blame him a bit for graduating from ROH.

- I'm very glad Rollins was able to transition to WWE.

- It's too soon for a Shield reunion.

- I like the Curb Stomp, but I'm fine with him using the Pedigree for now.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Matt Hardy discussed the recent changes in TNA:
-  I'm really glad we're seeing a more mature, clean Matt Hardy in 2015. He had a lot of people worried for a while there.

- Does he go back to ROH in 2016? He's an amazing heel on the indie scene.

- I'd love to see ROH and TNA working together in some capacity. Imagine the matches they could do in a cross-promotional feud! Both sides need to be positioned strong for such a feud to work. Some big names from either side crossing over for a feud is better than turning both shows turning into some kind of TNA-ROH hybrid (because what would be the point of having two shows then?).

Neville was interviewed twice: here and here:

- There's no reason to turn him heel. At all.

- Finn Balor's almost definitely ready for the main roster.

Rapper Machine Gun Kelly will be on the June 15 Raw. Mehhhh.

Tyler Breeze worked main roster live events this weekend, in a singles match and tagging with Heath Slater in a loss to the Meta-Powers. Breeze teaming with Slater could be interesting...

Kane replaced Rusev at live events this weekend, losing to John Cena in a steel cage. Meh.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. MVP came in during a time when he was able to keep ownership of his gimmick. Being on good terms with Johnny Ace due to their Japanese experience probably helped on that end.

2. I don't think it has to be a case of ROH taking fans from TNA. I think it's also possible wrestling fans tune in for something new in ROH and end up staying on that channel to watch Impact Wrestling. I do think it will be interesting for TNA performers to have another option to work on TV if things don't work out in Dixieland. Whether we'll actually see talents and fans jump to ROH will be determined in the weeks and months to come.

3. A lot of it is to get eyeballs on the Network on the last day of the free month in May. I think it's a great idea.

4. How do you know Kim Chee didn't help him write it in English? But yes, the former Kamala co-wrote an autobiography to help with his medical bills. He's a double amputee due to diabetes. It's a real shame.

5. I don't see much reason to. He hasn't been Bryan Danielson coming out to Final Countdown since 2010. The vast majority of fans know him as the guy doing "Yes!" with a beard who comes out to his current product.

More wrestling tomorrow.
