HHH promotes NXT:UK, Summerslam contest, Sasha the subject of new song, another UK tournament match, Lilian podcast update, WWE on preliminary Emmy ballot, Charlotte in ESPN issue, MSG reverses course with ROH, Cena potentially honored for humanitarianism, SDL star released, NXT return, Ronda still on live events, NXT:UK injury, Raw audience, Rey negotating with WWE, Taker joins social media (seriously), and Questions on USA and FOX asking for WWE changes, HHH booking Raw and SDL, NXT surpassing Raw and SDL, and Haku in the WWEHOF

Triple H promoted NXT:UK on Good Morning Britain. I'll buy a plane ticket and attend myself if he pedigrees Piers Morgan.

WWE is doing a Summerslam trip contest.

Sasha Banks is the subject of a song by The Mountain Goats, at Sasha's request. I guess you get that kind of treatment when you're The Boss.

NXT:UK released Tucker vs. Joe Coffey from the first round of their tournament.

Lilian Garcia's podcast will return with a new format and new home in July. She's gotten a lot of women interviews on "Chasing Glory."

WWE got press for running a new venue in Atlantic City. Hopefully that goes well for both sides.

WWE got the following shows on preliminary Emmy ballots:
-- Best Documentary or Non-Fiction Special:
- WWE 24: Empowered
- Andre the Giant

-- Outstanding Structured Reality Program:
- Monday Night Raw
- Mixed Match Challenge

-- Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program:
- Total Bellas
- Total Divas

-- Outstand Variety Special (Live):
- WrestleMania 34

- That's a very big step for the company, and a further confirmation they see themselves as "variety shows" and "reality programs" rather than sports.

Charlotte Flair will be in ESPN magazine's Body Issue on sale June 29. That's a big honor.

Sami Zayn has been written off in order to have an injury diagnosed. His one-sided feud with Lashley was designed to allow him to take time off at its conclusion. Hopefully he's back and doing something better soon.

Madison Square Garden has reversed course regarding ROH running the facility following discussions with WWE. ROH has indicated their lawyers will be contacting the other parties about how to go forward. I admire ROH standing up and trying to do what's best for their fans. If WWE's not using the venue on the date in question, MSG should be free to have someone else run it or should be compensated for not being able to have other wrestling events there.

John Cena is a finalist for ESPN's Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian of the Year Award. That's a great honor, and well deserved with all of his Make-A-Wish appearances.

Big Cass has been released by WWE. He was backstage at Smackdown Live, but cut before the taping began. Cass had heat for going off-script during the attack of a little person during his feud with Daniel Bryan, and there had been reports of him yelling at producers and spitting at fans during a live event in Texas. Additionally, he was pulled from some dates of WWE's European tour. WWE notably didn't "wish him the best in his future endeavors," confirming the split wasn't amicable. It will be interesting to see where he goes from here, as I wouldn't expect other promotions to rush to work with someone who had those issues on the way out.

William Regal should return at this week's NXT taping. That's good. I hope everything's going well with him.

Ronda Rousey will continue to appear on live events she's been advertised for during her "suspension." So I guess she's too dangerous for TV but not live events.

NXT:UK's Jinny has been pulled from work due to a concussion. I hope she's able to make a splash on the brand once it gets going.

Raw drew 2.90 million viewers Monday night, getting a boost from following Money in the Bank. We'll see how things go without Ronda on-air.

Rey Mysterio is negotiating a three-year deal with WWE. Time will tell what the terms will be, but it's something being discussed.

The Undertaker has joined Instagram in something I'm very surprised to see. I'm glad he's reached a place where he doesn't feel he has to be so protective of his on-screen character anymore.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. They can certainly push for certain directions and moves since they're the ones paying the bills. They're not going over every segment or anything, but they occasionally ask for certain names (McMahons) to be featured.

2. There's a world of difference between booking one special every few months and a TV taping every few weeks in front of 400 fans compared to booking five hours of TV a week and a PPV every month, where ratings and attendance dictate everything. Triple H can run his department with multimillion dollar deficits because Vince has given him more or less a blank check. Plus, people rarely have the opportunity to get stale or lost in the shuffle in NXT before moving on. People expecting Raw and SDL to be NXT Monday and NXT Friday in five years are deluding themselves. All that said, I do think we'll see some changes in what the product looks like when Vince is out of the picture. We're already there to some degree with the stars being featured and pushed now. Obviously there are some changes when people come up to make them "WWE superstars," but we're a long way from where things were before Triple H took over developmental.

3. I doubt it, given the demographics of TV compared to the fan base of NXT. And as was hinted at, "sports entertainment" has a broader appeal than old school wrestling.

4. I wouldn't rule it out as the years go on. Currently he has three sons in NJPW, so I don't think WWE's in a rush to acknowledge him. If they end up coming to WWE, that could easily change.

Nothing to add to 5.

More wrestling tomorrow.
