Rey Mysterio was officially unveiled as a pre-order bonus character for WWE 2K19. Ronda Rousey is also expected to be announced as a special edition character.

Hideo Itami will face Naomichi Marufuji in NOAH on September 1 for Marufuji's 20th anniversary event. Itami will be working under his old ring name of KENTA for the show. That's a really cool opportunity for both sides, and could be the start of further crossover.

Highspots.com is running a documentary on the original Championship Wrestling from Florida. WWE owns the territory's library.

The Philadelphia Phillies are holding a WWE Night Friday, featuring a WWE-themed championship T-shirt. I'm surprised no WWE talents/ambassadors are appearing.

ROH did a conference call to promote Best in the World, covered here:
- Has Bully added any ticket sales to ROH events, any Honorclub subscriptions, etc., in this comeback run? So far it seems like just another Bully ego-stroke.

- I'm split on intergender matches. I'd like to see them focus on WOH by itself for now.

- WWE pushing the Emmalina gimmick at the expense of something Emma did well understandably soured that relationship. I don't blame her for being happy to focus on the in-ring stuff now, and otherwise being in the driver's seat.

- I expect Dalton's dropping the title to Cody to set up a title vs. title match at All In.

- If he could afford to take the time off, surgery might be the right move.

Impact's parent company has named a new chief operating officer for their sports and entertainment division, which of course includes Impact. This isn't expected to change the structure of Impact's management at this time.

Raw drew 2.67 million viewers this week, a good drop from last week's post-MITB episode.

WWE officially announced their upcoming TV deals with USA Network and FOX. They have big financial expectations for the years ahead as a result of these agreements.

- WWE's stock broke records once again after this news released, passing $77.00 a share.

Noam Dar is believed to be moving to NXT:UK from 205 Live, due to his surprise return at the recently-broadcast shows. I hope he can shine there.

Shinsuke Nakamura has been pulled from the ring as a result of being bitten by a law enforcement dog before Monday's Smackdown Live live event as part of a pre-show security check. Nakamura was backstage during Smackdown Live, but was not cleared. I really hope he's part of a dog collar match or something at Extreme Rules now.

Chavo Guerrero was backstage at Smackdown Live. He worked on the GLOW series, so he was there with that cast.

- Danielle Fishel, who played Topanga on "Boy Meets World," also attended Smackdown Live. She was shown on camera before Lio Rush's 205 Live match.

Vader's autobiography will be finished by his son. There's no timetable for its release.

"350 Days" was profiled before its theatrical release.

"Death of the Territories" will be released on September 13.

Kane made a surprise return on Smackdown Live, reuniting with Daniel Bryan to challenge the Bludgeon Brothers at Extreme Rules. Kane's mayoral campaign is continuing. I assume this is just him checking something off his bucket list before potentially taking on a new career. It's cool to see it happen, though.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. They preferred AJ as a babyface and champion. And really, I can't blame them. Shinsuke hasn't shown he can be a headliner, or really that he can adapt to being a WWE superstar. They've given Shinsuke quite a few opportunities as a top guy, too, with him challenging for the WWE Championship at the second-biggest show of 2017 four months after debuting on Smackdown Live and winning the Royal Rumble. All in all, he's been in six WWE Title matches on PPVs/Network specials in the past 14 months. If that's a burial, what does a push look like???

2. He came back as WWE expanded international commentating.

3. I would definitely understand if he countersued, but I would also understand if he wants to move on with his life after such a long ordeal.

4. Hmmm. I would think they could ask for that, but wouldn't assume they will.

5. Impact and ROH would definitely be interested in getting paid to air their content on WWE Network. I don't know if it'd be worth it on WWE's part to potentially grow subscriptions, but that could definitely go well for those two groups.

More wrestling tomorrow.
