NXT and ROH Reax - 6/20/18

Read on for my thoughts on last night's NXT and ROH.
-- NXT:
- Vader tribute:
That's great. I'm glad they put something together that quickly.

- Bianca vs. Dakota:
Kai's just everyone's favorite victim, huh?

Bianca has a lot going for her.

Good to see Kai not totally being the tackling dummy here.

Pretty good overall!

- Ricochet promo:
I like him being about more than impressive moves. It would be all too easy to just have him do flips.

- EC3 promo:
He should definitely be pushing to be featured more, given he's a former world champion.

- Raiders vs. Mighty:
I like The Mighty looking to make a statement.

So much for the reboot leading to success.

Hey, they're trying to give it a shot against the hosses.

Damn. The Mighty just got Raided.

-- ROH:
- King vs. Chuckie:
Funny start.

Not bad so far.

I love the selfie spot, but it seems a little early for it.

OK, funny for Chuckie to steal Kenny's spot there.

That was pretty solid overall.

- Briscoes promo:
I love the contrast with the old-school Briscoes and the Bucks.

- Taylor promo:
They really haven't followed up the King Mo angle very well.

- Taylor vs. Woods:
Taylor's a beast.

Solid, although I wish it had gone longer.

- Cody/Scurll/H. Bucks vs. LIJ:Good to see LIJ again.

Solid work early.

Nice use of Daryl, Jr.

Good action here.

Everyone's getting to show what they can do here.

Ha. Punishment not waiting until the end of the match!

Damn. This is a nice shift from the other two matches.

A LOT going on here.

Good ending.
