Possible ER matches announced, Owens meets Shania, WWE conference call, WWE guests, podcast notes, Balor bruised, SDL audience, latest Hidden Gem, big milestone for Maryse, NXT:UK matches released, and Questions on the champion coming out second, ROH and AAA in MSG, doing the MITB match before AJ/Shinsuke, Jazzy returning for the MYC, and Impact moving TV homes

Extreme Rules' arena is advertising Braun Strowman vs. Kevin Owens in a steel cage, along with Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental Championship. However, they're also advertising a multi-man match with the winner facing Brock Lesnar, which was canceled Monday night, so it's possible the other matches are based on outdated information as well.

Kevin Owens escorted Shania Twain onstage for a Montreal concert. The singer promised to play his favorite song next time she's at the venue if he can beat Braun Strowman. I'm glad that ended up somewhat coming together for Owens. I doubt he'll get that wish, though, if that's her condition.

WWE did a conference call after announcing their new TV deals, covered here:
- I expect we'll see something else in the vein of MMC at some point.

- I fully expect the new TV deals to be used to fund further projects like NXT:UK, new talent signings, etc.

- Amazon and Facebook are definitely interested in WWE content. We'll see what things look like five years from now as far as that goes.

- FOX does reportedly plan to promote WWE content during other shows in order to make the show a destination, especially as part of a heavier sports focus.

GLOW's Alison Brie posted a photo from backstage at Smackdown Live. I'm glad we got to see them on WWE TV.

Steve Austin was on Chris Jericho's latest podcast, largely discussing music.

The former Enzo Amore is on Stone Cold's latest podcast, talking about his release and more.

Danielle Fishel put Lio Rush over backstage at 205 Live. Lio's debut was entertaining.

Stephen Graham talked about Moustache Mountain. I assume they'll be an important part of NXT:UK going forward.

Finn Balor got a serious bruise on his tailbone from Baron Corbin during Raw. OOUUUUCCCHHHHH.

Smackdown Live drew 2.14 million viewers Tuesday night, the lowest non-holiday episode since last June. The summer slump is definitely here.

Rich Swann was on Impact Wrestling's latest conference call. I hope he makes the most of this chapter of his career.

Shawn Michaels' upcoming DVD lineup has been released. That's quite the list of content.

Maryse has officially become an American citizen. That's big for her.

WWE Network's latest Hidden Gem is Sgt. Slaughter vs. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan from 1981.

NXT:UK released Amir Jordan vs. Joseph Conners and Ligero vs. Mike Hitchman, which were taped before the content shown on the recent specials.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I'm fine with them saving the person who's going to get the biggest pop for second, especially since they're openly acknowledging the show is sports entertainment, etc.

2. Both companies want to run the bigger part of the arena that WWE usually runs.

3. It made sense to focus on the conclusion of the AJ/Shinsuke feud without that added element.

4. It definitely makes sense to use her again and give her more time, and potentially sign her outright. They were going to last time before discovering her injury.

5. I'd also be surprised to see them get a better U.S. TV home anytime soon. They're not a hot commodity as a show right now.

More wrestling tomorrow.
