WWE visitor, SDL and NXT matches announced, assorted WWE press, WWE promotes The Elite, WWE returns set, MYC competitor profiled, GLOW trailer, NXT title defended in EVOLVE, Kickoff panel, Balor discusses inclusiveness, new WWE merch, NJPW UK cards announced, new WWEPC already in the works?, and Questions on HBK back in the ring, the Four Horsewomen being why WWE dropped the Diva name, Punk not following wrestling, Henry mentioning Owen at HoF, and Lana winning MITB

Ted DiBiase, Jr. visited at a Raw live event in Mississippi this weekend. I definitely wouldn't assume he's looking to wrestle again.

Pete Dunne vs. Kyle O'Reilly is set for this week's NXT. That should really be good.

Variety covered WWE's Emmy presentation. Good to see that effort getting press.

Kofi Kingston will throw out the first pitch at WWE Night for the Boston Red Sox on July 11.

Naomi did a signing at a Cricket Wireless store before Smackdown Live.

WWE promoted The Elite battling New Day at E3 2018, capitalizing on the success Omega and The Bucks had at Dominion. Wow. That just goes to show you how much of a mark those names have had in the business.

Chris Jericho faced Laila Ali on "Drop the Mic," which also featured WWE stars vs. GLOW cast members.

James Ellsworth is booked for Money in the Bank. Oh how I hope he helps Carmella retain against Asuka. Carmella could really use the boost.

MYC competitor Piper Niven was profiled in a BBC1 documentary. I'm shocked she hasn't been signed for WWE's UK brand or NXT. Hopefully she comes in for the second MYC and that leads to a contract offer.

Noam Dar is expected back in WWE soon following recovery from knee surgery. I'm looking forward to seeing him again. He's great at a young age.

GLOW released a trailer for its second season. WWE needs to work with them at WrestleMania.

Adam Cole will work EVOLVE's June 24 Massachusetts event, defending the North American Championship against WALTER. WALTER competed at AXXESS as well, so he's clearly on WWE's radar. This is pretty cool for both sides.

Pat McAfee, Sam Roberts, and Charly Caruso will host Takeover's Kickoff show on Saturday. McAfee's doing pretty well for himself.

Finn Balor discussed inclusiveness in his fan base. I expect we'll see more LGBTQ+ friendly merchandise in the years to come.

Stephanie McMahon's "Undercover Boss" appearance was promoted.

Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler now have a shirt for their duo. Hmm, will they use "The Show" as a team name?

Stephanie McMahon congratulated Ronda Rousey going into the WWE Hall of Fame, continuing the goal of simultaneously being a TV heel and a PR babyface.

Rusev alleged he and Lana were robbed in Memphis. That's terrible if true.

Summerslam's anniversary DVD trailer was released. "Mean" Gene Okerlund, Jonathan Coachman, and Charly Caruso will each host one of the discs, as appropriate for each era. That's a pretty cool idea.

Bobby Roode did a pair of appearances to promote Raw, saying that WWE is planning a larger Performance Center. WOW. Triple H is really making moves to recruit talent.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jeff Hardy and Daniel Bryan vs. Shelton Benjamin were announced for tonight's Smackdown Live. Both sound impressive.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. If the angle makes sense and he can deliver at a good enough level, I would. I wouldn't really mind him "playing the hits" at a show like the Greatest Royal Rumble, either.

2. No, but their recruitment was part of the movement away from that mindset.

3. Punk seems like the kind of person who puts all his effort and attention on one goal and doesn't get distracted. When he wanted to be a top wrestler, he was focused on that. Now that he's dedicated to MMA, he's not paying attention to the business he's left behind.

4. I'm sure WWE wasn't thrilled with it, but not to the point of it affecting Henry's status in the company.

5. Carmella vs. Lana = ratings. Especially with Rusev and Ellsworth involved. I'm fine with some fluff here and there, since the men have No Way Jose and The B-Team and the like.

More wrestling tomorrow.
