NXT:UK trademark, NJPW shows Vader match, another Impact Twitch card set, Interviews with Abyss/Charlotte/Vader's son/Dunne+Bate/AJ+Carmella/Bayley, rope breaks at Raw live event, top Impact name re-signs, possible HIAC main events, Extreme Rules match dropped, and Questions on the Universal Title picture, Elias not winning the IC Title, and Ronda wrestling on TV

WWE is trademarking "British Strong Style," which is PROGRESS' name for the trio of Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate, and Trent Seven. So I'd expect them to work together more in NXT:UK going forward.

NJPW released a Vader vs. Stan Hansen match. Those clashes are legendary.

Impact Wrestling is doing a Twitch event with Tennessee's Next Generation Wrestling on August 19. They're doing a good job creating content for the service.

Abyss discussed the state of Impact and more. I don't see running pay-per-views as being as important in 2018, at least in the traditional sense. Twitch and the Global Wrestling Network should probably be their priorities instead.

Charlotte Flair spoke with ESPN. Pretty good piece.

- Stephanie McMahon promoted the photoshoot.

Vader's son discussed his father's relationship with Sting.

Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate pitched being in WWE 2K19. They've definitely been on-screen enough to warrant that. I don't envy 2K having to add so many fresh faces in the years to come as WWE expands beyond Raw, Smackdown Live, NXT, and 205 Live.

The top rope broke during a Raw live event this weekend. It's a sign of how good those guys are that they were able to keep going regardless.

Eli Drake has signed a new long-term contract with Impact Wrestling. WWE had been interested in bringing him back to NXT, but he opted to stay where he is now. This could definitely mean he'll be a featured player going forward.

AJ Styles and Carmella appeared on Australian TV to promote Super Show-down. I'm curious which of them will still be champion when that event rolls around.

Bayley did a Q&A before Raw.

Hell in a Cell was promoted with AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens. Plans, as always, can change.

Extreme Rules' Raw main event has been dropped. The multi-man match that was designed to declare Brock Lesnar's next contender has been removed from the card due to "negotiations regarding Brock's next title defense." So, that whole situation is up in the air going forward.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
Nothing to add to 1 or 5.

2. WWE doesn't seem to know what they're doing at Extreme Rules, so seemingly pretty much anything can happen now!

3. We'll see what it all leads to. They could certainly have done more with Elias the last few months, though.

4. Given that she's willing to work live events and her deal isn't quite like Brock's, I think it will happen at some point. She's been very impressive so far!

More wrestling tomorrow.
