Cena rumorkiller, TNA employees let go, JAKKS comments on cancellation of Wounded Warrior figure, Generation Me talks TNA and more, WWE injuries, Questions on "burying" Zack Ryder, Kelly's push, the X-Division, turning Cena heel, and Punk's return, Morgan's "Made" appearance profiled, Shelley and Mickie talk Hardcore Justice, Prichard interview, Kendrick and Crimson promote Hardcore Justice, and previews for Raw and Impact Wrestling

The latest dumb rumor out is that WWE is planning on changing The Rock vs. John Cena at WrestleMania. Umm, no. They sold a LARGE number of tickets based on that match headlining the show. The only reason I commented on it was because Cena specifically mentioned it on Twitter and that got picked up by the credible sites. Any site that reported that rumor as a fact should be ignored from this point out.

A number of front-office employees have been let go by TNA, but no major names are being reported.

JAKKS released a statement on the canceling of the Kurt Angle Wounded Warrior figure.

The former Generation Me had an interview recently where they discussed where their careers are now and their run in TNA. They're right about TNA not knowing what they were doing with them. Granted, they were pretty low on the totem pole there. As for them not getting much time to get their stories over, this has also been a constant problem with the company. They have too many people doing too many things, and they can't properly showcase all of them. If they're not using some of these people, they should cut them loose.

I can see their side of the story about RVD, too. He definitely has a reputation as an egotist. If they really were respectful and asked other veterans for advice, good for them. As for them going to WWE, I don't see it happening. There's much more versatile talent out there they could sign.

After the break, I look at some recent WWE injuries, and the rest of the day's questions and news.

Rey Mysterio recently had some sort of issue with one or both knees, which led to an early ending to his match with Alberto Del Rio. There's only so much time left in his career as these issues are adding up.

Update: WWE did an injury angle with him after Saturday's house show.

Dolph Ziggler had some sort of pulled abdominal muscle recently as well. Both are expected to work around it and get as much rest as possible heading into Summerslam. I wish both of them a speedy recovery and hope WWE uses them wisely in their current condition.

PWInsider.com has some new questions up. Here's my take on them:
1. I must have missed that episode. The ones I've seen recently have had him get a new role on Smackdown that he didn't have before, where he's connected with the audience with his catchphrases and the like. As for his match with Ezekiel, the guy's been built up pretty well the last few months, so him getting the win shouldn't really be surprising. It'd be different if Jackson beat him in less than a minute or something, but Ryder got some offense in there. And complaining about someone whose character is a goof being treated like a goof is a little headscratching. How about we let this play out a little longer before jumping to conclusions?

2. It could also be related to her being voted in to a championship match. She's getting over with the crowd, and that's what WWE was looking for. All of those extra things are certainly going in WWE's favor, though.

3. Umm, no. That would get old really quickly I think. I don't see TNA or Spike wanting to take that big of a risk with the division. If they didn't want to do it with the Knockouts, I don't see them doing it for wrestlers who appear even less than they do.

4. I doubt that the audience wouldn't care if Cena attacked another face. It might not turn him heel, but the audience would certainly care. Anyway, I'd go with option 3. Mainly on the popularity thing. He could cut promos about busting his butt for the company and entertaining his fanbase, but being rewarded by being told that he sucks and can't wrestle, and how his detractors would rather cheer the guy who was this close to leaving the company and not being there to perform in front of them. Add that to his promos against The Rock and I think he'd be pretty set as a heel. And it'd pretty much be a shoot, anyway.

5. I can see both sides of the argument here. I would have liked to see Punk as the outsider for longer, too, but Summerslam's a pretty big deal for them so they went ahead and pulled the trigger on it.

Matt Morgan got some hometown press for his appearance on "Made".

Alex Shelley and Mickie James were interviewed to promote Hardcore Justice. Mickie vs. Gail in TNA? Yes please.

TNA's new head of talent relations was interviewed recently. Of course, the interviewer has to take some shots at the company over the course of it. Prichard has a point about the house shows usually being pretty different from the TV product (though some who attend them say this is a good thing). It'll be interesting to see how things change in that area (and others) under his watch.

Brian Kendrick and Crimson were interviewed before Hardcore Justice.

WWE has announced that C.M. Punk and John Cena will have a contract signing on Raw, and will also both be in action.

For this week's Impact Wrestling, Kurt Angle will have his first promo as the new TNA World Champion, and the Bound For Glory Series will continue. There will also be more from the X-Division.

That's all for Sunday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
