Henry vs. Sheamus note, WWE day in Santee, CA, Nash's offer to Punk, More on Nash angle, Questions on questions, Benoit, Hawkins, Foley, agents, and Lawler, Cee Lo talks Road Warriors and more, artwork for ,who Kelly embraced, WM27 special rating, artwork for upcoming WWE movie, Michaels cancels UK tour, referee and possibly Tough Enough winner suspended for Wellness violation, Masters talks release, Smackdown rating, and Summerslam draws over $1 million

The fans in the area around where Mark Henry and Sheamus went through the barricade on Sunday were independent wrestlers from PWG put there to make sure no actual fans were hurt. Smart move.

The Representative for the area including Santee, CA has named 8/15/11 as "WWE Day" due to the company's appearances at the Boys and Girls Club there. Cool.

Back in July after Punk resigned with WWE, Kevin Nash offered via Twitter to be his "backup" as a full-time gig. So unless he was told to post that by Creative, it looks this is a case of him wanting to work with Punk and being granted it.

WWE stirred the post-Summerslam pot with this post. I'm very interested to see where the Nash angle goes.

PWInsider.com has some new questions up to look at:
1. The whole point of the Q&A there is for people to get the site's members' opinions on things. So that's why those pieces are opinion-based. Not to mention that there's more than one person answering things on different days there, so one of them might contradict another. As for the wasps' nest that stirred, I think you can remember Benoit for both things. It's not an easy to task to separate the two, though I think one of them takes precedence, and it isn't his (admittedly off-the-charts) wrestling.

After the break, I look at the rest of the day's news and questions, starting with the future for Curt Hawkins.
2. I thought we were looking at a young Edge and Christian there when they first started branching off. The more goofy, underrated performer vs. the more grizzled one who's pushed as the singles star of the group. But push-wise that hasn't come to fruition. It's seemingly rare that someone comes back on the radar for WWE when they've been pushed to the side like Hawkins, so I'm not seeing him turning around and surprising us by getting pushed. With rumors of more WWE releases on the horizon, he might not be sticking around too much longer. I like him, but there are only so many spots on the roster.

3. I think it'd be insane. Would the teams even be able to get along?

4. Agents are kind of like vice presidents. When Creative isn't present (like house shows), they get the helm. BUT they have to keep things going in the direction that Creative has them as far as heels/faces/gimmicks and such. Agents also give advice for the specific spots in matches (do this move, learn this move, etc.) to sort of pad them out. Creative just does the big picture, basically.

5. I remember JR and King arguing during the Attitude Era, too. It just wasn't as grating as the fighting with Cole. And the jokes have been there for as long as I can remember.

Cee Lo Green discussed his Legion of Doom-inspired shoulderpads among his other looks.

Kelly Kelly's boyfriend, NHL player Sheldon Souray, was the person she kissed at ringside before her match at Summerslam.

It's been reported that 3.64 million people watched the recent WM27 special. However, it's unknown whether or not that number includes the NFL pre-season games that aired in place of it in some markets.

Here's the artwork (and more information) for the upcoming horror film featuring Brodus Clay. I'm personally hoping to see him running after someone with a machete yelling SSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! or whatever the heck he would always say on NXT.

Shawn Michaels has canceled some appearances in the UK to a dispute with the promoters. It happens.

WWE has suspended official Mike Chioda for 30 days for violating the company's Wellness Policy. That's certainly not good.

Word is also making round that Tough Enough winner and current FCW talent Andy Leavine, though this hasn't been officially announced by the company. Both of these cases could be similar to Sin Cara's situation, so I shouldn't rush to judgment here, but if this is a screw-up on his part, that's incredibly disappointing. He was handed that opportunity on a silver platter. If it wasn't for Tough Enough, I honestly don't think he'd get very far in the company.

Chris Masters recently went in detail regarding his WWE release. Interesting listen. I wouldn't mind some shaking up on the roster, if the guys brought up are good. It's a delicate process. Masters getting a "fresh coat of paint" could have been nice. Hopefully he gains from the release, and grows as a performer, then gets another chance in either major company. The Wellness violations years back would certainly weigh on the decision. It'd be difficult to push someone with that record. All in all, Masters really "gets it". I wish him the best in all of his different endeavors.

Smackdown did a 1.83 on Friday. Not bad. Could be better, of course.

Finally, WWE has sent out a press release on Summerslam grossing more than $1,000,000. Great job.

That's all for Monday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
