Query on Luke Gallows, Hansen autobiography released, new WWE Creative hire, Questions on changing Creative, WWE getting into baseball, Chavo in TNA, and Punk's future, ESPN talks Punk again, Edge and Bryan interviews, and the head of WWE Films leaves

To answer a query sent in today, yes Luke Gallows could come back to WWE if they wanted to sign him again. I don't know what the odds of that happening are, but there's nothing preventing them from doing so. TNA could also sign him if they so chose.

Stan Hansen's autobiography "The Last Outlaw" has been released.

WWE has hired Kevin Eck of the Baltimore Sun to join their Creative team. He starts at the end of the month. I'm not really familiar with him outside of his interviews with wrestlers.

Update: Eck blogged about the job switch.

PWInsider.com has questions up today:
1. Well, WWE doesn't want an old-school wrestling show. They want an action soap opera. The idea sounds good in theory, but we don't know what their booking would be like. If it'd produce good TV, I'd be all for it, but those people would have to want to be bookers and WWE would have to switch around or hire new people as agents and trainers and such.

2. That's the first time I've heard that one. They're getting more and more creative with "rumors" it seems. If Vince was going to buy the Red Sox, the story'd be all over the place.

There's nothing to add to #3, so after the break I jump to a question on Chavo Guerrero going to TNA, as well as the rest of the day's news and questions.

4. I'd be fine with it for the reasons mentioned. He could help some of the talent there improve in the ring and  help them get over more. As long as he isn't pushed as a really big deal just because he's a former WWE guy and is used in that way, it could be a good move for TNA.

5. It would certainly be a hit to the angle if Punk lost the title, because he would have lost to the status quo. As for where it goes from here, there are a number of ways they can go with it. Leading to a match with HHH, Austin, or Jericho at Mania would make sense storyline-wise. as for what they do between Summerslam and then, he could face more "status quo" people who've been with WWE a while or other people who are looking to shake things up there. And, of course, Alberto Del Rio can lie in wait for the perfect opportunity to cash in his briefcase. We'll see what they choose to do.

There are not one but two ESPN.com links looking at the C.M. Punk angle and Summerslam. If this keeps up, maybe more wrestling fans can come out of the woodworks and it can finally be socially acceptable on a wide basis again.

Edge gave another interview, covering pretty much the same stuff he's covered previously.

Daniel Bryan gave an interview recently discussing Summerslam and more. It's a good listen. He has done pretty well for someone who hasn't even been on TV for 2 years yet.

Finally, the executive vice president of WWE Studios has resigned, as was covered by the LA Times and Variety. Things are really uneasy in that area of the company right now as they look to slash budgets.

That's all for Wednesday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
