Query on Orlando Jordan, alleged assault over WWE tickets, Goldberg teasing return, Morrison interview, possible match for BFG, Natalya interviews, Be A Star criticisms rescinded, and Matt Hardy released following DWI

First up, someone wants to know if we'll see Orlando Jordan back in WWE. The company's looking primarily at new, younger talents to bring aboard so I wouldn't count on that happening.

In the "this is why we can't have nice things" category: A WWE fan is being charged with felony domestic violence after a dispute allegedly over tickets. Doesn't exactly shine a good light on the company, but odds are if it wasn't this, it'd be something else setting him off. Sigh.

This story's been building up for a bit now, but there hasn't been much on it that's concrete: Goldberg has stated that he could be returning to the ring by the end of 2011, but shot down going to WWE or TNA. Batista was thrown out as a potential opponent. I'll stay on top of this story since although it apparently won't take place in one of the major promotions, that's a pretty big matchup.

John Morrison gave an in-character interview to promote an upcoming Raw. Cool I guess.

PWInsider.com apparently didn't have any questions today, so after the break I look at a likely Bound For Glory match and the rest of the day's news.

I'm tagging this like a spoiler, though there's no guarantee that it's the direction TNA will go:
Jerry Lynn vs. Rob Van Dam looks to be in the works for Bound For Glory. Keep in mind that that event will be held in the old ECW stronghold of Philadelphia.

Natalya was interviewed to promote an upcoming Smackdown. WWE.com also spoke with her.

The woman who recently criticized WWE and the Be A Star Alliance apologized for her remarks after further reflection. I think she had a point about the remarks about Vickie Guerrero, but I'd be remiss to neglect the angles where bullying has been portrayed as heelish and the wrong thing to do.

Matt Hardy was arrested in NC after a DWI. Shortly after this story hit the net, he was released by TNA. The downward spiral of his career continues. Applause for TNA for finally taking a stand after a number of questionable incidents from him. It was definitely time to do so. Hopefully some other troublemakers on the roster shape up or ship out now as well.

There were plans for he and Jeff to return to the company around time for Bound For Glory, but those plans will at the least have to be changed now. Yes, despite the court case, chronic lateness, and showing up in less than ideal working conditions, TNA still planned to bring them back soon. Supposedly Jeff has cleaned up since Victory Road, but I'll believe it when I see it (since there've been a number of "second chances" in his career where we thought he'd turned his life around). There are Jeff DVDs and costumes to be sold, and that takes precedence for the company.

As for Matt going back to WWE, don't count on it. He basically went out of his way to get released there after being unhappy in his lessened role in the company. So, now that he's older, with even more baggage, and being even further removed from his prime, I don't think they'll take that risk. I could of course be wrong, though.

Anyway, that's all for Saturday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
