Raw-Smackdown crossover causing worries, another WWE 12 trailer, where to see Inside Out, Ryder eats an RKO, Questions on media coverage for wrestlers, Taker being bald, advice for HHH, TNA, and locker room etiquette, Orton interview, Jericho goes after Punk again, WWE All-Stars to 3DS, Stone Cold DVD update, recent WWE tryout talks, where Del Rio is, Rosita on 9/11 show, WWE stars at collectibles festival, Edge talks Haven (again), big milestone for Rock, Raw rating, Sting to Mexico, and a Matt Hardy video leads to cops coming to his house

With crossover between Raw and Smackdown becoming a weekly occurrence, a number of WWE superstars are worried about their futures. If they're not featured much (or at all) now, why should they believe things will be different following that announcement? There are some talents who are really going to get lost in the fold now. Maybe WWE should get a working agreement with another company so those people can continue to ply their crafts and improve their work when they don't have anything for them. Keep FCW for people who are still relatively new. There's also the somewhat riskier method of releasing them, then having them work elsewhere for a few years before returning. The problem with that is that they might not come back, and there's no guarantee that Creative will have anything for them in the future.

Here's another trailer for WWE 12, focusing on coverboy Randy Orton.

Here's the very short list of cinemas showing WWE's next release.

During a commercial break on Raw, Zack Ryder tried to "film an episode for his web show". He called for Randy Orton to be on it. The World Champion gave him and RKO. A similar bit was done recently with Triple H on Smackdown. I'm not really sure what that accomplished. Orton and HHH are already big stars; Ryder's just starting to get over. If anything they should have had fun with the premise.

After the break, I go into PWInsider.com's questions and the rest of the day's news, starting with wrestlers getting outside media coverage.
1. I think there's a big difference. Being reported on TMZ because of a DUI is different from being talked about all across Twitter because people are watching the show you're on. The Miz and John Cena have hosted TMZ's TV show, and generally the press about them is good. Miz plays up his persona in public; him wanting to be a celebrity goes along with that. Matt Hardy's a pretty different case. I'm not really sure what his thoughts are on the subject, since I'm not really sure what his thoughts are period at times.

2. I've seen a number of pictures of questionable veracity with The Undertaker not having much if any hair. That would be a really big deal for Rhodes to do (though he hasn't shaved anyone's head in this gimmick; I'm not sure that fits), but I'm not sure he's ready for THAT big of a rub. I'm a fan of his, but humiliating someone with over 2 decades as a featured performer isn't within his grasp. He's not even a main eventer yet, much less someone to put against legends.

3. Look at what's worked and hasn't worked in the past. Look at what's working and not working in other companies. Play to your superstars' and Creative's strengths. Don't be afraid to try new things. Always be thinking about where the stories are going, from the main eventers to the Divas matches (or make sure Creative is). And always pay attention to your audience.

4. I know that feel. Heck, we all know that feel. Seriously, just change the names and titles involved and the same complaint's been coming in since the company was founded. They have a pretty different view of the product than a lot of fans, and the two sides have trouble seeing what the other wants the product to be like. It's certainly not all Vince Russo's fault, but his booking philosophy has confounded people for years.

5. Oh yeah. It happens every once in a while, generally with newer talents who aren't used to the WWE way of doing things. To be fair, wrestling's not the only place like this. Generally any place with an established way of doing things wants others to conform and excludes those who don't.

Randy Orton was interviewed to promote Smackdown. Hey, if naps help him perform, I don't see a problem with it. It's not like it's painkillers or something.

Chris Jericho has another "is it a work or a shoot?" comment about C.M. Punk's performance on Raw.

WWE All-Stars is headed to the 3DS.

The 3-disc Stone Cold DVD is due on 11/29.

Recent WWE tryout Joey Ryan discussed his time there and many other topics recently. Intentionally overselling something? In other words, you know that your reaction was so over-the-top as to be unbelievable, but you do it anyway? That would tick me off to see as a performer or promoter. He wasn't hired to entertain his co-workers.

Alberto Del Rio hasn't been in WWE recently because the paperwork for his work visa has not yet come through. They can't legally use him until it does. WWE needs to keep better watch on these things so top international performers aren't gone when they're a big part of the show.

TNA's Rosita will appear on an NBC special remembering 9/11. Her father passed away during that tragedy.

C.M. Punk, Daniel Bryan, and Zack Ryder will be at a big Ringside Collectibles event in NYC in October.

Edge gave another interview promoting "Haven". Nice read, even though the subject's been covered plenty of times lately.

The Rock hit over a million Twitter followers recently. That's massive.

Raw did a somewhat unimpressive 3.15. No Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio could have been a factor. There's also the theory that people would rather see John Cena facing C.M. Punk than Nash or HHH, both of whom have been kind of "out of the picture" as far as wrestling full-time in the last number of years. Hmm. The show had a good number of rising stars, though, so this is a tough one to call. Something needs to be addressed here.

Sting will appear for AAA as part of their deal with TNA.

Matt Hardy posted a video, which YouTube has since removed, that basically insinuated that his life was ending on 8/31/11. Understandably, the cops were called. Jeff Hardy's wife was pretty peeved when they arrived at her house. Hopefully they took him in for some kind of psychological counseling. This is a pretty big cry for help.

That's all for Tuesday's news. More to come later tonight. Thanks for reading!
