Queries on The Undertaker and NXT, WWE protecting Maryse, Questions on Cena as champion, Punk's return, and HHH at Mania, DUI charges dropped against ex-WWE name, September PPV posters, Edge on SyFy show update, WWE partners with 7-Eleven again, TNA makes first-ever Mexican America T-shirt, Miz with Sirius/XM, wrestling makes Cracked.com list, Living Colour responds to Punk, Kaitlyn appearance, Abdullah responds to lawsuit, Punk does local weather, Smackdown rating, Raw's dark match, and Jericho responds to Punk

A few queries sent in to the blog recently:
1. There's no known update on when The Undertaker will return to the ring. There was talk that we'd be seeing him before Mania, possibly at Summerslam, but that was a decent while ago so I wouldn't expect him to show up there. There's not much in the way of clues here, unfortunately.

Update: Apparently his shoulder's still in pretty bad shape (at least compared to where it would need to be for him to return and wrestle at the level he usually does), so things are really up in the air as far as when we'll see him next.

2. No one seems to know how much longer is left on this season of NXT, even the people who are on it! I know that two FCW wrestlers worked dark matches last week, so they MIGHT be getting ready to wrap it up soon and use them in the next season. No guarantees, though.

WWE is increasing security as a result of Maryse's recent restraining order situation. I can't blame them for that!

On to PWInsider.com's Monday questions:
1. Things are definitely fresher and more interesting when Cena isn't champion. He'd held it plenty of times, so it does feel repetitive seeing him with the title.

After the break, I go into the return of C.M. Punk and the rest of the day's questions and news.

2. Pretty much what they said, except that I also wanted to see them continue the angle of Punk not being with the company longer. I can certainly see their side, though, and hope things go in the right direction with the sooner-than-expected return.

3. Summerslam is their second biggest show of the year, so I can't really blame them for going this route. And it does keep the momentum really going strong. I think Punk could really be a big deal if they continue his hot streak. He's a one-of-a-kind talent, and if all the stars align we could just have lightning in a bottle here.

Nothing to add to #4, so I'll skip ahead to 5. It all depends on what level of match Taker could bring then. The bar's going to be pretty high if the two of them face off again. There's going to be pressure for Taker to go 20-0 next year, so it's going to be a tough jam for WWE in that area. The anti-establishment Punk against the new COO in a similar vein as Austin/McMahon would be gold. I'd love to see it. I'd be pretty surprised if he used the Pepsi Plunge, though. It's pretty dangerous.

DUI charges against former Raw GM and announcer Mike Adamle have been dropped. He was said to have shown unusual behavior when arrested in January, and failed a field sobriety test, but his breathalyzer test showed that he was well under the legal limit. Adamle's epileptic, so that might have had something to do with the confusion.

InDemand has released the posters for WWE Night of Champions and TNA No Surrender, the latter of which will feature the final match in the Bound For Glory Series. Good of them to promote that.

Edge will be a part of a number of episodes on SyFy's "Haven", which comes on after Smackdown. Smart synergy move by NBC Universal.

WWE has announced that for the 3rd straight year, they're partnering with 7-Eleven for Summerslam. That'll do pretty well for them, I think. Lots of Slurpees being drank out there.

TNA has made the first-ever T-shirt for Mexican America. Pretty cool. Doesn't really look like a wrestling shirt, but that's partially the point I'm thinking.

Here's a clip of Miz at his recent Celebrity Fantasy Football appearance.

Pro wrestling appropriately made Cracked.com's list of silly-sounding jobs that are harder than most people think. Always good work by that site.

Living Colour gave some shout-outs to C.M. Punk for using their song recently.

Kaitlyn will be appearing with Team Gaspari as part of the 2011 Olympia Fitness Expo. I'm not 100% sure what that entails, but it makes sense with her fitness background.

Abdullah the Butcher responded to the lawsuit recently filed against him. He makes some good counter-points. It certainly looked like he used the blade on Nicholson in the "Don't Bleed On Me" video, though.I hope this whole matter gets straightened out and gotten to the bottom of.

(One of)WWE('s) Champion(s) C.M. Punk did a segment promoting tonight's Raw as well as do the weather early Monday morning. Good appearance from a pretty tired Champion.

Smackdown scored its highest rating since Edge's retirement on Friday, netting a 2.02. Hopefully that's a sign of good things to come for the brand.

Brodus Clay won a dark match before the Raw taping. If he's improved since we've last seen him, I'd like to see him back on Smackdown.

Chris Jericho responded to C.M. Punk name-dropping him on Raw. I don't really get how he sees Punk as ripping him off, but some think this could just be an angle anyway.

That's all for Monday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
