David Hart Smith update, Edge interview, WWE Classics on Demand update, ex-Tough Enough contestant on FCW website, Questions on Orton vs. Taker, JR, Velvet Sky, and Punk's friends returning, HHH on Fallon recap, Orton looking for feedback, big WWE tryouts

David Hart Smith is headed to Japan following his WWE release. I wish him the best there. He's still young, and maybe he'll pick up some new tricks there for an eventual return.

Edge was part of a long interview with The Score recently.

WWE is relaunching their online Classics on Demand service as WWEgreatestmatches.com. Cool enough, though that doesn't cover the other companies in their library.

Cameron Lynn, added to the FCW roster page recently, is Ariane Andrew from Tough Enough. I was all set to blast them over this signing, but apparently she's showing aptitude towards the product now. Time will tell on this one.

After the break, I go into PWInsider.com's questions of the day, starting with the odds of Orton vs. Taker at Mania.

1. I don't see why they wouldn't try to go with Triple H as his opponent again, unless he's physically unable to compete and they need a replacement. I don't see how it'd be a bigger match feel, because H and Taker have over a decade of history to play off of and both are part of that decreasing number of Attitude Era stars that have a lot of credibility with more long-term fans.

2. Enough to where it's pretty much become expected, like Undertaker returning every year.

3. Absolutely. She's definitely moved up the ranks the past few months. I wouldn't be surprised to see a title reign coming up for her.

4. We don't even know if Cabana's coming back, much less the others. I'm not very familiar with Steel, but I enjoyed the other two and hope we see them again. If WWE doesn't sign them, TNA should. If that means cutting some X-Division guys and/or TNA originals, that's fine by me. Talent is talent.

Nothing to add to #5, other than I haven't heard anything on him in a long time.

Here's a brief recap of Triple H on Jimmy Fallon. Not much to say on that.

Randy Orton is seeking feedback for his matches on Smackdown and PPVs each week. I'm curious as to how much of that will be from the IWC and how much will be from the audience they're actually marketing to.

WWE is holding a three day series of tryouts in California this week, by invitation only. They're looking at people they've used as "extras" in the past as part of it. I hope that goes well for them.

Triple H's new talent recruiting division is taking more shape as a number of people in the company are working directly with him, including a writer working on the development of new TV-debuting talents and their introductions. That's certainly an area the company could grow in.

That's all for Saturday's news. More to come tomorrow, including a preview of TNA Hardcore Justice. Thanks for reading!
