Austin responds to Lesnar, more on Dallas-Mania rumors, Duggan autobiography in the works, Questions on a WWE snub and possible HoF inductions, WWE stars on Nick, Domino update, Hogan on SportsCenter and ESPN.com, Bischoff talks TNA topics, Angle into a wrestling HoF, Hero-WWE update, Dixie returning to TV, DX in Dallas, more on Tomko, JR talks firing, Laurinaitis, and announcing, new name in FCW, WWE.com talks to JR, and JBL talks a comeback

Stone Cold Steve Austin responded to the recent comments made by Brock Lesnar. They continue to make me intrigued about a possible match-up, but I don't see it happening. I don't even think Lesnar'd be able to with his UFC deal. At least it can be done in WWE '12.

Dallas, TX is a frontrunner for hosting WrestleMania 29, but of course things can always change. Wherever would be best for everyone's fine by me. That Cowboys stadium's pretty awesome, though.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan has an autobiography coming out in April 2012. Potentially interesting read.

On to my take on Wednesday's PWInsider.com questions:
I'll leave 1 to them. As for 2, it's possible that it was just a mistake on their part. If not, that's pretty petty of them. They could also have seen Miss America as a more major live event than Smackdown. Something tells me that if WWE was aware of it, they'd release something correcting them.

Nothing to add to 3. They hit the nail on the head.

After the break, I look at porential inductees into the WWE Hall of Fame, and the rest of the day's questions and news.
4. As was mentioned, Rock hasn't been announced for the Hall of Fame. He'll go in at some point, but it's not official for Miami yet. WWE will space those names out. I'd certainly like to see Savage, as would a lot of fans. HHH and Taker are pretty much locks down the line when they aren't semi-active competitors. I definitely see Edge, Foley, and JBL (especially given the latter's backstage roles and how liked he is with management) going in some day. Angle and Lesnar are a little more iffy, since both work outside of WWE currently. Time will tell on those. If WWE ever absorbs TNA (and I'm not saying that's likely to happen in the near future), I'd think Angle would be more likely given the work he's done there. Lesnar's the question mark given the relative shortness of his career.

Nothing to really add to 5, other than what happened to paralyze him was a pretty unfortunate accident.

An episode of Nickelodeon's "Family BrainSurge" with The Miz, John Morrison, Kofi Kingston, the Bellas, and Eve will air 10/13 at 6 p.m.

The former Domino, Cliff Compton, is said to have interest from both WWE and TNA now. I'd like to see what he can bring to the table. I think he showed potential in his run with that character.

Hulk Hogan was on SportsCenter to talk Bound For Glory among other things. I'll believe that Hogan/Sting's not closing the show when I see it.

Update: At another appearance, Hogan clarified. That sounds more like it.

Update: and here's Hogan's chat with ESPN. I don't share his enthusiasm for Styles and Hardy being THAT big in wrestling. Hardy's personal problems are his main drawback, and Styles has pretty much been somewhat of a big fish in a small pond to me.

Eric Bischoff discussed the change in TNA's creative team, the X-Division and more. So, no big changes in Creative, Hogan's sticking around, and more of the X-Division? Ugh.

Kurt Angle will be entered into a professional wrestling Hall of Fame. Pretty cool. He's earned it.

Chris Hero is believed to still be in discussions with WWE for a developmental deal. I saw him on ROH'ss TV show and was quite impressed with what he could bring to the table alongside his already-signed partner.

Dixie Carter tweeted that she'll be in attendance at Bound For Glory, which would make sense since she'd get back control on-air if Sting beats Hogan.

Here are some photos of the DX reunion in Dallas before Smackdown.

Here's more on Tyson Tomko's arrest. Such a disappointing story.

Jim Ross talked about his sudden "firing" from Raw, John Laurinaitis, and the announcing situation in WWE. Very good listen. The relationship between WWE and JR is downright bizarre at times. I agree with him about the announcing situation. It could certainly use some changes. The product should take precedence over the announcers not getting along and such. Hyping up the faces and heels is one thing, but sometimes they really go over the top with it.

Jake Carter has been added to the FCW roster. No word on his background, or anything about him for that matter. Hopefully he adds to the product.

Jim Ross refused comment to WWE.com after his firing. That's a minute of my life I'll never get back. They were referring to the old rumor (?) that JR isn't on TV sometimes because of his physical appearance (related to the Bell's Palsy attacks).

Finally, JBL shot down talks of a comeback again. I think that ship has sailed outside of a one-time appearance here and there.

That's all for Wednesday's news. More to come later tonight. Thanks for reading!
