Raw dark match, DGUSA announcer to FCW?, Valiant interview, Storm talks title win, WWE/Mattel at NYCC, Questions on Storm, McIntyre, and Roode, Tough Enough winner officially added to FCW, FCW star possibly released, more on WWE/Twitter, JR weighs Cole's challenge, Nash talks physical condition, Four Horsemen promo in rap song, Torrie Wilson comments on Keibler/Clooney, Torrie Wilson comments on Stacy/Clooney, WM28 seating chart, LA Times looks at Raw, TNA touts rating, Tough Enough contestant and DH Smith talk, Raw rating, HHH "injury" update, story on WM28 in Miami, and the Smackdown dark match

Sin Cara (I'm assuming the blue one) beat Michael McGillicutty before Raw. A bit surprising that someone that high up the totem pole worked a dark match. I suppose it's possible they did that because they wanted him to get more experience working the WWE style without it being on TV.

It's being reported that Dragon Gate USA announcer Rob Naylor has left the company to work with WWE's FCW.

Jimmy Valiant discussed a number of Memphis-related topics.

James Storm talked about his journey to the TNA Championship after Impact Wrestling. Good stuff.

Here are photos from WWE and Mattel's booth at New York Comic-Con. Pretty cool.

After the break, I go into PWInsider.com's questions and the rest of the day's news, starting with a look at the James Storm title win.
There's nothing to add to 1, so on to 2. I think we should should judge whether this is the right move by where things are in 6 months or so. If Roode and Storm both end up being (convincing) big deals, then it's forgivable. Sometimes it's ok to change things at the last minute IF it ends up being the right move down the line. I personally think Storm's the better promo guy and think I can get behind him better as champion. Time will tell.

3. Their answer gave me flashbacks to the punishments of Carlito and MVP. I hope this isn't the same type of thing. Talk about someone who looked like he had a big future. Maybe, MAYBE there's light at the end of the tunnel.

4. The analogy source is fine. Given the stigma of wrestling, nothing's really "too nerdy" to enter the comparisons. Anyway, it's very extreme. Roode was built up for a few months against a not-so-evil character in a feud that wasn't the focal point of the company. The Harry Potter lore was built up for YEARS and was a very big deal all across the media. Not to mention that this story is ongoing, so there's still time for Roode to be a hero and big star.

I don't really know what to say/add to 5, because I'm not familiar with it.

Tough Enough winner Andy Leavine is officially back on the FCW roster as Kevin Hackman. No mention is made of that competition or his name there, though all of his pictures show him with the championship belt he won. It's been enough time now that I'm ok with him getting a shot to prove me wrong about him.

Rodney Thomas has been removed from the FCW roster, which generally indicates a release. I can't honestly say I know much about him.

There's speculation that WWE pushing Twitter is part of an effort to cross-promote the social media service. Interesting theory.

Jim Ross commented on the challenge made by Michael Cole. Oy vey.

Kevin Nash commented on the state of his body and mind at this stage of his career. At least he's not downplaying it like Hogan was going into BFG.

A rap song includes parts of a classic Ric Flair promo.

TMZ caught Torrie Wilson and asked her about Stacy Keibler dating George Clooney. The article doesn't bring up them being in WCW together.

Here's the seating chart for WrestleMania 28.

The LA Times covered Raw, as part of what will become a regular feature for them.

Michael Cole and Jim Ross will be playable in WWE '12, which means you can F5 them as many times as you want. I seem to remember Head being playable back in the day, so this isn't too surprising.

TNA touted their rating from Thursday, as they should.

Tough Enough's Erik Watts talked about his time on the show.

The former David Hart Smith discussed a number of topics about himself and his family.

Monday's Raw did a 3.3 rating off a 3.53 first hour and 3.11 second hour. Talk about your mixed bag of good and bad news. Hopefully the weeks to come show good numbers.

Triple H is stated to be out for over 6 weeks due to the sledgehammer attack by Kevin Nash. At least they're theoretically not brushing off a serious attack to do a match at Survivor Series. Hmmm... TLC or Royal Rumble?

A number of WWE Superstars talked about Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart as their DVD released recently. Good stuff. I wish I got to cover more interesting stories like that.

Here's a story on the process of Miami getting chosen for next year's WrestleMania. Smart business by WWE.

The dark match before Smackdown had Drew McIntyre defeating Johnny Curtis. I was wondering where those two went...

That's all for Tuesday's news. More to come later tonight. Thanks for reading!
