Jim Ross and John Morrison played up the "walking out" of Raw on Twitter. I love it. One of Morrison's best promos ever.

Speaking of Morrison, WWE just released a new T-shirt for him, so it looks like he could end up staying with the company.

TNA has a released a press release for its airing of Bound For Glory in a number of cinemas around the country. It notes the stipulation for Hogan vs. Sting, which is a wise choice given the physical condition of both men. They're going to need the help.

After Raw, Zack Ryder changed his mind about not supporting Triple H. He ate a Pedigree for his troubles. I guess he had to get it out of his system since he isn't laying people out on-screen at the moment. Footage will be on this week's Z! True Long Island Story.

Update: WWE.com has footage as well.

Jerry Lawler will be working charity events in Mississippi this weekend. Nice piece. All those crowns...

Here's the trailer for WWE All-Stars coming to the Nintendo 3DS.

Sheamus was interviewed by Insidestl.com.

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's news, starting with PWInsider.com's questions. First, who's the best company poster boy?

1. For Hogan, it's not just a Russo thing. He's got supporters all over the company (and likely Spike as well) who've positioned him in the spotlight. My pick of the 3 is Cena. Say what you will about overexposure and staleness and the like, but he's a much better performer than Hogan in 2011 (some would say in any year). He's still around his prime at any rate. I'm not very familiar with Richards. What very little I've seen of him didn't make me more interested in the product (which is what a poster boy should do), so not a difficult choice here.

2. No love for "Ready To Rumble"? I kid. Yeah, hard to top Hot Rod.

3. I'd say so. WWE if I'm not mistaken gives seminars on saving money and such from time to time. That could just be in FCW, though.

4. I don't mind that they're taking that route. I just think they need to be consistent. Keep storyline releases on WWE.com, but move actual releases to the corporate website. OR, they could come up with storyline reasons for the legitimate releases (WWE management/John Laurinaitis/whomever announced the following talents' contracts have been terminated due to budget cuts) and keep it on the main website. Do it for main roster hirings, too.

5. In addition to what they said, the chokings were different. Bryan's was more violent.

Rey Mysterio has begun physical therapy on his knee following his recent surgeries. He hopes to be back in the ring for the 2012 WrestleMania, but that's by no means a sure thing.

Bret Hart had good things to say about the upcoming DVD about his rivalry with Shawn Michaels. Should be a good one.

Jeff Hardy has elected to go ahead and serve his 10-day jail sentence, effective Monday 10/3. Good for him to get it out of the way.

Pete Rose discussed being put in the WWE Hall of Fame as part of an interview that mainly covered baseball topics.

Bobby Roode was interviewed in his hometown about Bound For Glory among other things. The article mentions a match for the show that I'm not sure has been officially announced yet.

In Australia, last week's Raw got 27,000 viewers and last week's Smackdown got 26,000 viewers. The shows were ranks 49th and 50th respectively in the top 100. No other wrestling shows made the list.

WWE got press for the good attendance for the 10/3 Raw. Everything clicked there.

Triple H briefly talked about the WWE roster walking out on Raw. I believe we'll be getting more on this story on Smackdown. Looking forward to it in a way I haven't looked forward to things in a while.

The Great Khali's WWE contract is coming to an end, and it's not likely that he'll sign a new one just yet. This is why he was written off on Smackdown. It seems likely that he'll at least be taking some time off. Obviously the Indian market isn't going to take that news well. I think it's time for him to be off TV for a while anyway given that he wasn't performing as well as he used to.

WWE is looking highly at moving C.M. Punk up the card after the boost in business he created. There are even talks of putting him into movies. Looks like his risk really pulled off. I hope he gets the ball along with other hungry hard-working superstars.

Jeff Hardy talked about the Victory Road incident and related stories. I really hope he's only one screw-up away from a release.

John Cena sang "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" at the MLB playoffs. He was also interviewed, dropping mention of his WrestleMania 28 match with The Rock.

Raw did a 3.05 rating coming out of Hell in a Cell. As big as that show was, that number's a little disappointing. But, the rating grew throughout the night so hopefully they're back on the right track.

The Rock will be at the 3-hour 11/14 Raw in John Cena's hometown. Now that will be good to see.

C.M. Punk gave his (character's) take on the walkout from Raw. He's got good points.

The other half of WWE Superstars this week saw (spoilers!) AJ beat Tamina and Ted DiBiase beat Tyson Kidd. I think Tamina could possibly be a good fit with the Divas of Doom.

Effective immediately, WWE is moving NXT to Wednesdays at 4 p.m.. This was announced shortly before the show would normally have been aired. That doesn't look too good for its importance and future. I'll begin coverage of it at around that time, pending how punctual WWE is with uploading it. Other than the time change, coverage will be the same from me.

Finally, Hulk Hogan signed a new deal with TNA. The length and terms aren't known. His current deal would have expired on Monday. Hopefully this is either short-term or will lead to better things for TNA than we've seen from him so far.

That's all for Tuesday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
