More Hogan comments, JR to return, Questions on Rock vs. Cena and the walkout angle, Jarretts on ESPN, Booker back in the ring?, identity of new FCW star, new WWE job openings and trademarks, Angle and Roode interviews, Turning Point location, WWE HoF inductee announced, and the BFG preshow

Hulk Hogan further "clarified" his recent comments in interviews that rubbed a number of fans the wrong way on Twitter, chalking them up to him being a heel character. Even though Storm and Hardy were faces and he put them over while talking badly about other faces like Roode and Styles. He called a number of fans jabronis and marks as well, and retweeted comments that talked highly of him. This is bizarrely entertaining. I'm all for TNA turning into Crazy Town like WCW did at this point. (Honestly, I'd rather there be two strong wrestling promotions putting on good shows, but it looks like this path is more likely). On a serious note, there were likely fans listening to that drawn in by Hogan who could very well now have the impression that Roode and Styles aren't that great. Why would you want to potentially confuse people into thinking that?

Jim Ross will return on-screen on Raw. There's more to this story, but it involves spoilers for the 10/17 episode so I'll save it for tomorrow.

On to my take on Sunday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. No disrespect to the current roster, but I think that match (coupled with its lengthy build-up) is so big that it should in fact go on last. I don't know if anything else the company could put out would be able to top it as far as spectacle goes. It's a pretty big match.

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's news and questions, starting with another complaint about the walkout angle.

There isn't anything to add to 2, and for 3. It hasn't been officially announced, though Orton kind of "let it slip" there before someone with him (presumably from WWE) claimed it was a "strong rumor".

4. Wait, what now? An angle they've never done before isn't creative? I'm just not seeing the criticisms here. Also with no specific reasons why it's "depressing" and "has holes", I'm not going to be able to see them. Just because he was removed from being COO doesn't mean Vince McMahon can't appear on Raw. Whatever happened to people waiting to see how an angle will play out instead of taking a break from watching it? Especially someone who's watched for over 45 years! I've enjoyed the angle as something different that we've yet to see the full effects of. Wrestling can be hard to cover when it's bad, but it's yet to be so bad that I've wanted to stop following/covering it. Then again, I don't do this for a living and I haven't watched for nearly as long as others (though I've watched for over 13 years now and I think that should count for something).

Nothing to add to 5 either, though I snickered at the inside reference about Feinstein.

Jeff and Karen Jarrett made a brief appearance on ESPN's "Fantasy Football Now". Bound For Glory was plugged afterward.

Booker T. is being advertised for a number of Smackdown tapings. Given that announcers aren't usually mentioned in those ads, this might mean he'll wrestle then. Time will tell. I'd be ok with it if it helps elevate some newer stars.

Jake Carter, the newest FCW star added to the website, is actually the son of former WCW Champion Vader. You'd think someone would have noticed that before now. I'm now significantly more interested in how he'll be in the ring.

WWE has a number of new job openings listed. And they say no one's hiring...

WWE is looking to trademark "WWE Supercharge" which could be a new show of some kind. They're also doing the same for "Afterburn", which airs internationally in syndication.

Kurt Angle gave another interview. It's vintage Angle alright, as far as some of his remarks lately.

Bobby Roode was also interviewed. He talked about a potential feud with James Storm for the TNA Title. I honestly don't think those two are ready to headline against each other. They're growing, though, and I could feel differently in time.

TNA Turning Point will be in Orlando. Not really a shock.

Mil Mascaras will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012. Very big international name. He's earned it. I imagine his nephew Alberto Del Rio will do the honors.

The Bound For Glory pre-show saw Mexican America retain the TNA Tag Team Championships. Ink, Inc.'s manager has been given the name "Toxine". As you might expect, she got involved in the match alongside Sarita and Rosita.

That's all for Sunday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
