Windham update, JR to Raw, details on Mania kickoff, Hornswoggle honors the Muppets, Questions on Brawler in the Hall, Hogan/Sting, the BFG crowd, and WWE's claims about long-running shows, Aries talks "10 percenters", Muppets updates, WWE looks at Ringside Fest, WWE '12 DLC, Chyna Youshoot trailer, Toys R Us exclusives, interviews with Ziggler and JR, and a Brisco rumorkiller

It has been confirmed that Barry Windham suffered a heart attack. I continue to wish him the best for a speedy recovery.

Update: He's said to be a good deal better now, but still has a long recovery ahead of him.

It has also been confirmed that JR will be at Raw, presumably to wrestle Michael Cole. How I wish that were a joke. Maybe Statler and Waldorf commentate for it?

Here are the details of who will be appearing at a pre-sale party for WrestleMania 28.

Hornswoggle, who is an avid fan of the Muppets, will be getting an additional three tattoos of characters from that franchise before Monday's Raw. That's dedication!

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's news, beginning with PWInsider.com's questions. First up, will the Brooklyn Brawler make it into the Hall of Fame?
Nothing to really add to 1, so for 2. I'd say it's a virtual lock for down the line for the reasons they mentioned. They could very well just be "saving" him for a future class since he's such an obvious choice and would be readily available.

3. Yeah, kind of what they said. The "real" Hogan finally shown through and realixed that what he had been doing was wrong.

4. To add to what they said, it could be that the styles of Morgan and Crimson aren't exactly what the stereotypical Philly wrestling crowd want to see compared to some of the other workers and matches on the card. It could possibly be a gimmick thing with the three of them, too.

5. I suppose it could also be argued that SNL isn't episodic in the sense that it doesn't have a running plot like WWE. It's a collection of skits instead of a story. That MIGHT be what they mean.

Austin Aries tweeted about "smarks" and what has been termed the 10 percent of wrestling fans that follow the business online. As someone who followed similar logic to that group for years, I'm mostly inclined to agree with him.

A number of talents have been pushing to work with the Muppets on Raw. Another thing I never thought I'd be typing!

WWE has a blurb on C.M. Punk, Zack Ryder, and Daniel Bryan being at Ringside Fest this weekend.

The first DLC characters for WWE '12 will be Michael Cole (in orange wrestling gear!),  Jim Ross, A DX-era Shawn Michaels, tag team era Edge and Christian, NWA era Road Warriors, and Jerry Lawler. Works well enough. Randy Savage and Mick Foley will also be available to download down the line.

Here's a (non-PG!) trailer of a YouShoot DVD with Chyna. That's umm... interesting.

Toys R Us has a number of exclusive WWE action figures for sale, including one of The Rock.

Dolph Ziggler talked about choosing wrestling over a legal career ahead of Raw and Smackdown going to Liverpool.

Jim Ross talked about Raw, WWE's treatment of him and Michaels-Hart. Good listen.

There's a rumor going around that Gerald/Jerry Brisco has passed away, but that's not the case.

That's all for Thursday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
