Flair surgery postponed, Questions on TNA's production, going after HHH, Angle/Olympics, and Henry/Show/Long, Lesnar in WWE '12(!!!), and Miz/R-Truth invade another house show

Ric Flair has stated that his surgery has been postponed after his doctor noted that his torn triceps was healing itself. He might not even need it! They should check his genes like they did Ozzy Osbourne's.

On to my look at PWInsider.com's questions:
1. Honestly, I've pretty much stopped trying to figure out TNA. Someone there apparently likes the sound of it or thinks it adds to the product. Actually, I guess that applies to anything someone doesn't "get" about wrestling.

2. I have a suspicion that Stephanie's involved, personally, given that she's been on TV as part of the angle. Given how little we've heard about Vince since he was removed as COO, I'd be somewhat surprised if this was all just a set-up for him to come back to TV. I think that would render the whole storyline meaningless to a degree.

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's questions and news, beginning with how serious Kurt Angle is about the Olympics.
Nothing to add to 3. For 4, if he isn't serious, he's doing a heck of a job faking that he is. I don't see him being successful in it. There's just too much working against him.

5. Theodore Long actually did come out to try to stop Mark Henry and find him some suitable competition earlier on in the angle. Sheamus came out to challenge him, and they fought on PPV. And people wonder why WWE supposedly plays to people with short attention spans! Long's attempts to stop him were repeatedly ignored, so he was pretty much forced to the side in the matter. He felt that Big Show would be more likely to listen to him, so he tried to reason with him. As for the HHH angle, outside of the Kevin Nash snafu (which I suppose could be explained as someone letting him in to text himself), I'm not having any trouble following along with it. I'm actually enjoying it, and think it'll lead to someone challenging him for control of the company. Or, they could somehow force him out and he becomes a competitor again for a while. Either way, I'm liking how it's playing out and don't see the complaints others are having with it.

In the "I didn't see this one coming" category, Brock Lesnar will be available as a Legend in the upcoming WWE '12 game. UFC allowed him to appear on the condition that he be presented as he was during his run there and not as an MMA fighter. There are no plans for any further interaction between the two sides at this time. Either way, that's pretty big.

Finally, The Miz and R-Truth "invaded" a Raw house show, breaking up the main event of Alberto Del RIo vs. John Cena before Air Boom cleared them from the ring. Sounds good. I like that they're incorporating on-air storylines with house shows.

That's all for Sunday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
