Mark Henry was part of a fitness camp. I think he'll do a lot of good things for communities after his in-ring days are done.
Matt Hardy talked about the trend toward crowdfunding by wrestlers. Hardy is INCREDIBLE with working the Internet fans.
Dolph Ziggler tweeted ahead of Extreme Rules. I think it would be good for both sides for him to get a few months off to refresh himself.
Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
Daniel Bryan was removed from advertising for this week's TV. I don't think they're currently considering stripping him of the IC Title, but we'll see.
For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. There's no point in arguing why someone likes a wrestler. I think Rusev is really solid and does his gimmick well. Scherer wanted Rusev to win to keep his momentum following the loss to Cena at WM31. Wyatt went through a slump after losing to Cena at WM30, and Scherer doesn't want the same for Rusev.
2. I don't know if you can put lightning back in the bottle again. How many times can they do the "Kane is a monster again" story? Kane being unstoppable would be hard to pull off without him winning the WWE Title along the way, which I think could take away from some people who could do more with that spotlight. As much as I'd like to see one last awesome Kane/Taker feud ending in the gimmick match to end all gimmick matches, retiring both of them, I don't think it's in the works. Maybe they try that closer to WM32, but I don't think they'd commit to Kane as an absolute beast for an entire year. There are too many other people they need to be getting behind to put the nearly 50-year-old Kane front and center.
3. That's a good question! I think a good number of fans have more or less given up on WWE getting behind their favorites for a long period of time. But if WWE consistently rewarded people who were getting over, I think that could make a positive change in business.
4. NXT isn't even on TV! And they only have one hour a week. There's no need to add another title there.
5. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if it was a way to humiliate and humble Ziggler. His outspokenness probably doesn't win him any favors. And of course the loser can recover from the stipulation. Ziggler got raw sewage poured on him for crying out loud. He wasn't ruined for life.
More wrestling tomorrow.
