WWE changing HoF?, assorted WWE press, new NXT signings profiled, more NXT guest trainers, TNA audience, Fandando update, and Questions on Vince giving HHH Creative, last names, Authority vs. NXT, Hogan at WM32, and WCW nostalgia

WWE is considering doing a smaller Hall of Fame class next year in order to make it shorter. That's probably a good move, as they'll quickly run out of people to induct at the current rate.

Paige and Kane visited the Doctor Who experience while in the UK. Remember when Kane was a silent, nearly invincible monster who was wrecking his way through top guys? It's hard to believe that's the same guy.

WWE has now added Raws from the year 1998 to the Network. They're milking that era lately.

WWE will release its Q1 2015 results April 30. It will be interesting to see what all they announce then.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

WWE welcomed the latest crop of signings to the WWE Performance Center. Some additional info on the signings:
- McKay has quite the impressive resume for her age. She hasn't had a lot of actual matches, but her career goes back a good while.

- Areebi has a good start on things at a really young age. Hopefully she comes into her own in WWE, too.

- I'm impressed with Tischer's credentials so far. It looks like he's already got a good base to work from.

- Magno was really rough around the edges during his TNA appearance a few years back. Hopefully WWE will be able to mold him into someone worth investing in.

- Uhaa Nation has been lauded as a standout on the indie scene. I hope he's their next big success story.

Former TNA name Sarita and former WWE worker Dave Taylor are serving as guest trainers this week at the WWEPC. Good picks.

Impact's audience Friday night did 408,000 viewers, with an additional 175,000 on the replay. That's slightly lower than last week.

The plan as of Raw was indeed to turn Fandango face and have him drop Rosa Mendes as valet. Now she's almost entirely useless, but they'll keep around because she's part of "Total Divas". Uggghhhhh.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. If anything, I think Vince would try to take on NXT as well.

2. It's one of those phases Vince is going through, I guess. I don't really get the point, either.

3. I don't see how that would make any sense, or why they'd even go that route. I also want to see Owens get a push, but I see no reason to have The Authority invade NXT.

4. It's not set in stone we'll get Taker vs. Sting next year. We might have already seen Sting's last match. As for Taker retiring at WM32, that's also not a guarantee (even thought it would make sense for him to go out in Texas). I doubt we see Hogan wrestle again for WWE, period. If he does, I imagine it would be in something like the nWo vs. DX where they could work around him not being able to take bumps. The only problem with that match is, they're pretty much all too old and banged up to take bumps.

5. I do think if the powers that be had signed the likes of Hogan, Goldberg, Sting, etc. and matched them against top WWF names as equals, they could have drawn a lot more money than they did. But they weren't willing to spend that kind of cash for people who were just as happy to not take bumps and still get paid handsomely from AOL Time Warner. Plus, the WWF locker room would likely have not been too happy with having to put over guys from the rival company. It's not as easy as it sounds.

More wrestling tomorrow.
