New TNA trademarks, assorted NXT notes, HoF notes, more assorted WM notes including a Taker update, announcing updates, Interview with Jeff Hardy, name removed from TNA roster, and Questions on titles mattering in WWE, Taker training, Ambrose vs. Cena, Hansen in the Hall, and HHH vs. Sting

TNA has registered to trademark the phrases "Dirty Heels", "#Standup", and "The Rising". The last two are definitely for Drew Galloway's new stable. I look forward to seeing them work with BDC.

Vince McMahons is said to have been impressed with both Charlotte and Sasha Banks at the WM week live event. So, we could be seeing Charlotte on the main roster sooner rather than later. I'm ready to see it, and she's ready to make that leap.

Hideo Itami got to enter the Andre battle royal because Tatsumi Fujinami was in attendance and Japanese press followed him. I think that's clever, since the spot didn't end up meaning much either way.

The former CJ Parker wants to work internationally to improve his game, potentially returning to WWE later. That might be the best move for him.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Enzo Amore, Solomon Crowe, and other NXT talents were part of Triple H's entrance at WM31. That's cool for them to get a cameo like that.

A number of Hall of Fame speeches were cut short, as Management felt the show was going too long.  I think they had a point in some ways.

WWE wanted Kevin Nash to be inducted as Diesel for some stupid reason. He's much better known as Nash. Probably more successful, too. There was also heat on Nash for him putting over getting guaranteed contracts. It's not like they didn't know Nash's character going into the induction.

Shawn Michaels also got heat for using words like "strap" and "wrestler". He legitimately ripped up his prepared speech and ad libbed it. The old-timers in WWE really need to lighten up about that. I guess they don't have lawns to yell at kids to get off.

There was also some heat on Madusa for using expletives and endorsing Eric Bischoff. I can see the first one to some degree (even though it aired on the Network and could be edited for TV). They should have buried the hatchet with Bischoff a long time ago.

Howard Finkel marked 35 years (!) with WWE. That's one really impressive tenure.

Paige and Charlotte talked before WM31. Hopefully those two face off before WM32. Heck, before Summerslam would be ideal.

The Undertaker was in good spirits after WM31, saying he intends to work WM32. He and Sting discussed potentially facing off next year. I think that would be a great way to end both men's legacies. The only other opponent I can think of for Taker then is Kane, and that's been done quite a bit.

Michael Cole was kept off Smackdown to sell the F5 from Brock Lesnar. Genius. If only Brock F5'd Lawler, Booker, and JBL every week so we didn't have to hear them anymore.

Update: The commentary team is expected to return to normal next week. Hopefully Cole will at least be in a brace or something.

Jeff Hardy talked about toning down his in-ring style and more. I'm sure TNA hopes he can keep going a long time, especially if this is the last year for Kurt Angle there.

WWE touted the performance of WM31 and Raw the night after. They've got momentum right now. They need to make sure they handle that well. If they're right back to the status quo in a few months with long Authority talking segments and guys like Kane, Show, and Cena in a lot of main events, things will be stagnant again.

Garett Bischoff has finally been removed from the TNA roster page, after having not wrestled for the company since November 2013. Why he was still listed there is anyone's guess. King Mo is still listed for the time being, despite having never had a match there.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I can see that criticism. I also think all three titles will be treated as important going forward. At least for a few months.

2. I think he works out with the druids in Death Valley. As was said, he's been doing this for decades. He knows what he has to do to get through another Mania match.

3. 6 out of 10 on the "smark" meter for this question. It would have gotten more points if the word "buried" was used and Vince and/or Kevin Dunn were blamed. Ambrose had a good showing with a 15-time World Champion. Compare his showing to Axel's showing against Neville. Hopefully both Ambrose and Wyatt will get more time to shine going forward. Ambrose should go for the WWE Title at some point, and I'd like to see Wyatt pick up The Ascension as new disciples and go after some credible opponents.

4. I'd also really like to see it.

5. This one tops question 3! 7.25 out of 10. This actually comes across like a mark post. I think the only "stupid" thing was the nWo helping Sting, but that can be written off as them being out to counter DX. Wrestlers have been using foreign objects and other people to win matches for decades.

More wrestling tomorrow.
