Orton vs. fans, GFW live events set, Maddox update, NXT lineup, Tough Enough casting open, big tour for TNA?, TKO lineup, Impact audience, Bryan note, next Y2J podcast on the Network set, another NXT live event set, and Questions on the Wellness policy, letting HHH book the main roster, TNA commentary, and HoF inductees continuing to wrestle

Randy Orton is said to have berated some fans seeking autographs after returning to the airport from the European tour. Since we don't know how the fans acted toward him and what exactly took place, there's not much to say here. I think he gets some leeway after that grueling tour, especially if the fans were rude.

GFW announced a tour of minor league baseball teams this summer. This is good for the promotion to get things worked out ahead of presumably being on TV.

Brad Maddox was in town for Raw. I could see him taking over for Kane as DoO after Extreme Rules.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Set for this week's NXT:
- Kevin Owens vs. Alex Riley
- Finn Balor vs. Tye Dillinger
- #1 Contendership for the Women's Championship: Charlotte vs. Bayley vs. Becky Lynch
- Hideo Itami vs. CJ Parker
- Rhyno vs. Jesus de Leon

I'm guessing the goal is to build Balor, Itami, Rhyno, and Owens for future matches. Fine by me.

Here's the press release for Tough Enough's return. I'm kind of split on it being back. I think the appeal's kind of worn off this many seasons in.

TNA is trying to tour China toward the end of the year. I don't see much reason other than the novelty of it. Are they pulling big enough numbers there to justify it?

Set for this week's "TKO" edition of Impact Wrestling:
- TNA Knockouts Championship: Taryn Terrell vs. Awesome Kong
- #1 Contendership for the TNA Knockouts Championship: Angelina Love vs. Brooke vs. Gail Kim vs. Madison Rayne
- The Doll House debuts
- Mickie James makes an announcement.

I'd love to see Mickie compete against some of those other names. I'm also interested to see what the new Knockouts can do.

The audience for the most recent edition of Impact Wrestling was slightly down. They had 401,000 viewers for the initial airing and 171,000 for the replay. They're doing better than they were on FSN 10 years ago, for what that's worth.

Daniel Bryan was not at WWE TV this week, as the company continues to give him time to rest up. I wonder what the backup plan is for Extreme Rules. How about BNB tries to declare himself winner via countout, only to be interrupted by Neville? They could then start a feud while Bryan recovers.

Chris Jericho will interview Stephanie McMahon on WWE Network April 30. That should be great given their history and Stephanie's position in the company. Now, when can we get Shane O'Mac?

NXT will have a live event in New York on May 16. I wonder if The Wolves, etc. regret not signing there given the number of dates NXT is starting to get booked.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. WWE is a publicly-traded company. If they stopped doing tests and someone found out, there would be absolute hell to pay.

2.a. I'm under the impression anyone performing on-screen as talent has testing. That would include non-wrestlers and part-timers. As was said, this would likely be spelled out in official documents.

b. I applaud the reporting of facts instead of irresponsible speculations. There are libel laws for a reason.

3. If NXT live events start outdrawing main roster live events and NXT shows do better on the Network than main roster PPVs, then MAYBE Vince will change things. Otherwise he's probably going to stick to his guns as long as it remains profitable to do so.

4. I echo their sentiment. Not to mention they recorded a lot of commentary in a row. That fatigue will get to you.

5. The Rock isn't in the HoF, so that point's out. I think it should be only on rare occasions a still-active wrestler goes in. But it's not my Hall of Fame, so there's no guarantee WWE will agree!

More wrestling tomorrow.
