Query on Gunner, Sammartino notice, more financial issues in TNA, NXT in Philly update, Smackdown audience, and Questions on a San Antonio WM, using legends, and Punk walking out

First up, a query:
1. TNA's Gunner has been off being part of a movie. I'd like to think he'll be back by the next Impact tapings.

Bruno Sammartino's agent put out a notice regarding merchandise and autograph requests. It's really bizarre there's a whole business built around getting people to sign things. It's also really weird people will send things to someone's house when they don't even know them.

TNA production staff has also reported being behind on pay. If this is all true, it spells some serious problems for the company. There've been on-screen and behind-the-scenes departures pretty consistently this past year or so. People like to compare the company to WCW, but I'm getting more ECW vibes from this situation. The coincidence of being dropped from the former TNN only adds to it. I hope we're not in for the dying days of the company, because the product has generally been quite enjoyable.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

NXT will not be running the former ECW Arena. WWE is seeking a larger venue, possibly Temple University, for an upcoming live event. That makes sense!

Smackdown's audience this week was 2.45 million. Things seem to have settled back to where they were before Mania. There have been some positive changes (Rollins as champ, Cena putting on wrestling clinics, Neville and Kalisto being brought up), but it's kind of just getting an oil change when they need a new engine.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Not much to add here. It's pretty much something handled by the suits crunching numbers.

2. I definitely wonder how much of the current audience would know or care about some of those names mentioned being used. Ivan Koloff hasn't had a match on national TV in more than 20 years.

3. I pretty much totally agree here! There are a lot of things to look at here. There's definitely a sense of "Punk owed me one last Mania" or whatever. Some fans are now pretty much saying "the pipebomb was overrated", "he was terrible as babyface champion" and all this other silly stuff just because they're salty he didn't die in the ring trying to entertain fans who don't respect him in public, push him when he's in the crowd, etc.. Something similar is happening with Jericho lately.

Nothing to add to 4 and 5.

More wrestling tomorrow.
