Raw notes, ROH signs TNA hopeful, another WWE cartoon, huge Raw audience, indie cameo on Raw, HoF audience, watch WWE set up, WM32 rumors already starting, NXT release, did Brock blade?, and Questions on Cena's promos, the Freebirds in the HoF, Brock on ESPN, titles vs. belts, and more challengers for the WWE Title

Raw attendees have said their audio was muted near the end of the show, given how many NXT chants there were during the main event and the Undertaker chants directed at Sting. I do think they went too heavy on the chants, as they generally do. I'm glad they support NXT and all that. I think at some point WWE got the point, though. It would have been more constructive to chant "No More Big Show" or something than doing the wave to get themselves over. The audience at home needs to be able to hear what's going on in the ring. In some ways they negatively affected the show for people watching.

Bray Wyatt missed Raw due to his ankle injury. Hopefully they can just have him talk from his rocking chair for a while while he heals. It might make more sense for him to disappear for a little while after the loss to Taker anyway.

The former Victoria/Tara was at Raw. I wonder if we'll ever see her involved in the company again.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

ROH has signed Dalton Castle to a contract. TNA had been after him, as well. I admire the latter company going after newer talents instead of just trying to throw a bunch of money at top names. They still have some people better known for their WWE work, but by and large those names are there because they can still contribute in a big way.

A WWE-Jetsons crossover is in the works. That's pretty crazy. Things have really changed from the Attitude Era. Stone Cold hitting the Stunner on Rosie would be hilarious.

Raw drew 5.37 million viewers Monday night, the highest number since Raw 1000 in July 2012. That's INSANE! I hope WWE takes note of how big of a deal there was with Rollins winning the title.

The cameraman attacked by Brock Lesnar was played by local wrestler Dylan Drake. That was a really awesome angle.

WWE's Hall of Fame special drew 2.11 million viewers, which isn't a bad number. For anyone who thinks cable/satellite is on the way out, that's a LOT more than the number of U.S. subscribers to the Network.

Here's video of WWE setting up the Raw and Smackdown stages. I miss the unique sets, but I see why they do what they do now.

The Undertaker and Sting were spotted together at an airport after Raw. That's really cool! I hope that match happens, although I don't know how much momentum Sting has after losing to Teminator H in his debut match.

CJ Parker has asked for and been granted his release from NXT. The split was amicable, and he finished up his tenure at AXXESS. Parker was a great heel in the Bo Dallas mold of making people hate his very existence. He was perfect for that role and a great stepping stone for others. I can see why he'd want to be more than a "jobber in developmental", though. I can't say I blame him in that regard. I doubt he would have been called up anytime soon, or even really pushed.

Update: Parker addressed his departure on Twitter. Maybe TNA picks him up and really makes something of him? I'd like to see that.

WWE responded to rumors of Brock Lesnar causing his blood loss (through blading or other means). I think him being busted open added to the match, since we don't see blood that often in WWE. WWE wants to be a family-friendly variety show, so blood will be rare when it does unintentionally happen.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Pretty much what they said. I think one thing that would help tremendously is if he cut either fewer promos or shorter ones. There are other people who would take that mic time and run with it, and he would have less time to fill with the same stuff we've heard 500 times before. He's already the biggest star on the roster. Just have him get right to business, like we saw at Raw. If fans had reason to invest in other acts, it would be a benefit for everyone.

2. The Freebirds should absolutely go in next year. I almost wish WWE would go ahead and announce it so there can be something to talk about other than "X got in the Hall of Fame before MUH FREEBIRDS." If they don't go in next year, then it will really be time to complain.

3. Absolutely! That was a huge boon for WWE. Hopefully he won't go and F5 Coach, too.

4. I think a good point is made here, but ultimately it's not that big of a deal.

5. I would like the show in general to feel less formulaic and segmented. WWE is the McDonald's of wrestling in a lot of ways, where things feel mass-produced in a factory.

More wrestling tomorrow.
