Sheamus stitched up, Interview with Miz+Summer Rae, Hardy update, Goldust update, another NXT event set, wrestling in NK, big Dixie interview, and Questions on independent contractors, Lana, turning down WWE movie roles, Bryan toning it down, and greasing your hair back

Sheamus needed several stitches following King of the Ring. That will actually probably make him look even more badass.

The Miz and Summer Rae spoke to Sam Roberts on many topics in a long interview. It's hard to believe Miz has been with WWE for more than a decade now.

Jeff Hardy underwent surgery on his broken tibia. No word on how long he'll be out yet.

Goldust underwent an MRI recently. I'm curious as to what that means for his future in the ring. I definitely want to see him work with some NXT names before he hangs it up.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

WWE has added another NXT live event for May 15 in Philadelphia. I can only imagine what NXT will look like a year from now.

Sports Illustrated looked at WCW's 1995 trip to North Korea. Amazing read on an historical event.

- I can see how an arch-conservative like Helms wouldn't want Flair to go to North Korea.

- I wouldn't be surprised if Flair didn't go if he knew what he would get into.

- Bischoff had some real moxie. I can only imagine what Turner brass thought of him going over there.

- That flight sounds horrifying.

- Muhammad Ali sounds like a really awesome guy to hang out with.

- The North Korean landscape sounds terrifying.

- North Korea sounds carny as hell.

- Part of me wants to read some North Korean textbooks to see how backward their history is.

- Japan was integral to getting the event together, and NK is burying them?

- I'd love to see Flair cut a promo on that North Korean guy about his custom suit, etc..

- Everyone eating together every day sounds horrifying, too.

- Big Poppa Pump vs. North Korea is also something I want to see. That vignette needs to happen.

- Scott Norton almost started an international incident!

- That's one way TNA could get their attendance up!

- I do think the event is frequently glossed over for a number of reasons.

Dixie Carter was interviewed by Stone Cold Steve Austin. That edition of the podcast will drop Tuesday. I'm sure it will produce a lot of talk!

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I'm pretty sure Punk did threaten a lawsuit about his contract, but the two sides settled. The reality is WWE's not going to change the independent contractor thing unless there's a big uproar or court case about it. There's not much use in getting upset about it unless it leads to something that can actually change things.

2. I think we'll see her in the ring eventually. It seems pretty much inevitable. Whether she'll ever be a full-time wrestler remains to be seen.

3. WWE brass wants people who are down for anything asked of them. Talent is also able to turn down storyline ideas, but they probably shouldn't if they want to remain employed.

4. What about Daniel Bryan, suplex and submission specialist? As much as I think it helps him get over to do the big high-flying moves, the reality is he needs to be cognizant of the injuries he's had.

5. Well, that makes sense. That's something I never really thought of.
